These are a great recipe for the fall and winter, but they taste great any time :) If you don't know what snickerdoodle is, it's basically cinnamon flavored.

Also: This recipe does have "additional" ingredients. This basically means you use the same ingredient but in different places, for example, the baking soda goes in the fake eggs mixture and the flour mixture.

Ingredients:

1 ⅓ cup flour

½ teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

2 tablespoons water

1 additional teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon canola oil

½ cup butter

¾ cup of sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

⅛ additional cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

Procedure:

Mix flour, salt, and 1 teaspoon baking powder in a bowl. Set aside.

Mix the water, additional baking powder, and oil in a tiny bowl and set aside. These are the fake

eggs.

Beat together the butter and sugar until smooth. Add in the fake eggs mixture, and beat until

smooth. Add in the vanilla.

Add the flour mixture and mix until totally incorporated.

Refrigerate dough for 15 minutes.

To make the coating, mix the cinnamon and additional sugar in a small bowl.

Preheat oven to 375 F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Shape the dough into balls and roll in the coating until completely covered.

Place the dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown, and remove from oven. Cool for 2 minutes and transfer to a rack to cool completely.

Enjoy!
