"Leave through the window, or jump out or I don't know just hide or something?!"

"I could just let her know I'm teaching you"

"No way mister, you're cute but technically this is not allowed and whilst my mum is away!"

"Honey?" I heard her voice getting closer and closer, her steps getting louder and louder.

She opened the door to see...

" Honey, I was calling you did you not hear me?" she said as she came closer to me

"Uh yeah mum I was just resting in bed cause of my leg, I didn't hear you sorry" 

"It's alright, are you hungry?" 

"No I'm fine, I'm just going to go to sleep" 

"Alright" she walked away and closed the door.

You must be wondering where Jax went right? He was currently hiding underneath my duet cover and stuck right next to me, I covered the part where he was laying with some plushy toys and bears that I had. 

"You can breathe now" I said tapping the duvet

"wow" he gasped for air and came out of the death trap.

"Sorry did I over do it?" I scratched my head looking at him fanning himself down.

"It's fine, I'm guessing I will have to jump down the window?"

"Unfortunately yes." 

"See you tomorrow?" he said looking at me, he came closer to me to give me a hug but then he realised our conversation. "Right, I'll be waiting" 

"Yes, I can't stay at home forever."

"bye" he said and disappeared from the window

"bye Jax" I whispered

A MONTH LATER

"So girl what are we doing for your 18th?!" Beth spoke out, I sighed as she went on and on about my birthday, saying she would invite her boyfriend Noah ( yes they did end up getting together). I wondered how Jax was? My mind wondered off to him, always.

 At school we acted like a teacher and a student. He stopped teasing me and keeping me back, he stopped giving me detention, he stopped the peaking from the windows, he stopped the next door neighbour visits that ended up making my mum wonder if he was okay. Occasionally we would run into each other making each side is alive. I thought maybe he had finally found someone better and older, forgot about me and realised that this was a stupid idea, but whenever I looked at him, I still saw his eyes the same as when he met me, curious, excited and something new this time; anguish.

A month went by and I felt lost, days went by and I never realised that I would be turning 18 in a week. Would that mean me and Jax have a chance? As I lost all means of excitement and happiness, I guess everyone could tell I was back to the other me, quiet, and uninterested. Talking about guys, Ewan got excluded for a month for smoking and getting caught by the teacher, which I thought was ridiculous, everyone and I MEAN EVERYONE KNEW, he smoked. 

During this month he would come over and chill with me, he tried to make me laugh and tell me jokes but I had no mood to. I think he learned that I was not over Jax and he couldn't change my mind, as if he would admit that he lost, but I could tell the difference between a flirty Ewan and a friendly Ewan.
