           Thank God it's Saturday!

   The whole week went by with classes as boring asf! Maxie never showed up in school through out the week, so you can imagine how extra dry classes were for me.

I'm so happy it's finally Saturday. Atleast, I don't have to sit in a boring room filled with Boring people and listening to boring lectures.

"For your future." they'll say.

I wonder how what we're being taught in school relates to our future!

Silly people!

 I laid down on my bed with headphones on my head, bobbing my head to & fro to Kendrick Lamar's - Humble .

     I soo love the guy, alongside Eminem too. In fact, I love songs that gives crazy vibes & rap was definitely one of those.

"Sit Down! Be Humble!" I couldn't help but sing along.
Facing one direction, I decided to turn to the other.

  Upon facing the opposite direction, I think I saw a figure peeking it's head from beneath my bed. Frightened, I tumbled out of bed but landed on my butt.

The next thing I heard was a familiar chuckle then laughter.

Maxie!

"Do you want to give me a heart attack?!" I shouted, slightly annoyed.

"Should have seen the look on your face." she laughed loudly, a single tear streaming down her face.

"And you think it's funny!"

"Ok I'm sorry." she apologized, trying not to
laugh again.

"Whatever. when did you get back." I asked, finally standing up from the floor.

"Yesterday." She shrugged.

"And you never bothered to call!" I looked at her, surprised that she could even do a thing like that.

"Easy, easy, I wanted to make it as a surprise."

"And you did, should have brought a coffin, knowing you almost killed me"

"But I'm sorry." she said giving me a puppy face and then moved to pull my cheek.

"Yeah it's alright" I swiped off her hand.

 And so we talked about things ranging from the boring classes to the weather.......... And you know - girls talk.

She also told me about her home and how she never wanted to come back.

"And do you also know that there's a party coming up tomorrow?" She suddenly asked.

I rolled my eyes. What's with Maxie and parties?

"But you just got back."

"And so?" She gave me a pointed look.

"Well you know me, I'm not coming." Theres no way I'm going to any party. At least not on Sunday.

"Nah, there's no way I'm missing that party because of you and there's no way I'm going there without you." She finalized.

Knowing Maxie too well, I'm not ready to start an argument with her. so I reluctantly agreed.

"So we're going to go shopping for the best dress, so we can look you know." she winked at me.

"Don't worry about me, shop for yourself. I don't think I currently need a change of clothes."

"Don't tell me you're trying to go to that party dressed like a boy trying to get a girl." she looked at me, shocked.

"And what's wrong if I get a girl?" I asked.  Honestly, I don't mind. I'm not trying to get a guy after all.

"Don't be silly, we're going for shopping and that's final!"

"Whatever you say, your majesty." I laughed.
