I woke up a little bit earlier than I usually do. The event of last night still dancing in my memory.

Stupid Mitch!

Taking the sheets off, I gently rolled of my bed. It was still 5:48am so I still had a lot of time to mess around.

I did some rounds of workout; ranging from jumping jacks, squats, butt kicks and a few push ups.

By 6:00am, I went to the bathroom to freshen up and prepare for school.
Selecting a Nike short, a baseball shirt, Nike sneakers and matching socks, I took my backpack, phone and headed downstairs.

"Morning mum." I sat across her at the table.

"Morning love." she looked up from her cup of tea. "What's the catch? You being dressed up in all black?" She asked, giving me a curious look.

"Nothing, I just wanna be like this today." I shrugged.

"Looking like a gangstar."

"If you say so." I smiled.

Sighing, she stood up and took her bag. "Whatever, just don't get in trouble sweet." she said, giving me a kiss on the forehead before leaving.

"I won't mum, promise."

After breakfast, I came out of the house and was about to head for school when I sighted a familiar car. Maxie's.

"Get in the car little one." She said, her high pitched voice full of happiness.

"Who are you calling little one." I asked with a fake frown on my face.

"Hop in child. We're gonna be late." she drew her sunglasses down to give me a stern look.

I laughed as I got in the car.

"I'll so kill you for this."

"Please don't kill me in my car. I don't want it stained with blood." we both laughed and then she drove off.

Luckily for Maxie and I, we both had first period together. We were a little bit earlier so we chose the middle seat.

First period was history. One of my worst subjects, In fact hate school as a whole (please don't blame me, not everyone is like you!).

"Today's class is going to come with a project." Mr Cole, our history teacher said aloud.

We groaned.

"Useless projects. I just hope to be paired up with someone sensible." I said to Maxie's hearing only.

"Hmm, I don't care who. As long as he's cute" She said.

"Really." I asked, turning slightly to look at her, but she just shrugged like it was nothing.

Same old Maxie.

"The project is going to be about french history. I'm going to call your names and your partner. You both are to work on that project and submit  to me after a week."  Mr Cole continued.

Hmm french. Not going to be that bad .

Soon enough, Mr Cole began calling our names. Just then I heard....

"Sofie James and Eddie Wallace."

Now I don't even know who that is. Looks like Maxie got her dream partner, as she left me, with smiles on her face to sit with him.

Just then, someone nudged me from behind.

"Sofie, I guess..."

"And you're Eddie?" I turned to ask the stranger.

Sharp blue eyes stared back at me and..........

Wait a minute, this face looks familiar but I just can't figure out where I had seen it...

"Yeah I am." He offered me a hand, smiling.

Oh My! his smile!

Wait what am I thinking? Falling for a guy's smile!

Slowly I looked at his hand, giving it a disgusting look before looking back at his face.

"Meet me in the library after school."  With that, I took my backpack and left the class.
