Chapter Forty-Three: Pissed and Horny {Cole}
Weeks pass without much activity, a few matches here and there, but nothing spectacular. Things have been quiet, especially on Ellie's end. That fucker, Keenan, hasn't messaged her any at all the past week or so, and boy has she been about ten times happier. Her confidence as increased, her boldness beginning to show as she finally lets herself loose.
As I exit my flat, I smile as I think of the beautiful girl who has been on my mind 24/7.
I'm gonna take her out tonight.
I call her phone, waiting for her angelic voice to come through. Sure enough, she answers quickly. I can hear the smile in her voice as she says, "Hello?"
"Be ready in ten. I'm on my way."
"What? Where are we going?"
"I don't know yet. But we're going on a date, so be ready, sweetheart." I hear a soft giggle, before she sighs.
"How am I supposed to know what to wear if we don't know where we're going yet?" she teases. "Plus, it's late. Nothing is going to be open on a Sunday anyways."
"Fine, then we'll make it a date at my place."
Please, don't say no.
"Okay," she says, a small escaping. "I'll go get ready."
True to her word, Ellie's ready when I arrive at her place, her blonde hair straightened to perfection and her body clad in a pair of loose athletic shorts, a t-shirt, and a pair of sneakers that match well. She gives me a sweet smile as I enter her room, leaning against the door frame as I watch her look herself over in the mirror.
"You look beautiful," I tell her. She gives a shy smile, before I lead her to the car. Opening her door, I let her slide inside before I close it. It doesn't take long to get back to my place, where I unlock the door and step back so Ellie can enter first.
"What if we cook?" she asks.
"Remember how that went last time?" Just thinking about it, my body is overcome with heat, a burning ache to kiss Ellie like before, let her know just how much I liked our little miniature make-out session.
Guilt flares as I remember the events directly afterward, when Maddie had shown up and I almost lost Ellie for good. Standing in the kitchen, I think back even further, to all the dumb shit I thought about Ellie.
She doesn't fit in.
What a fucking nerd.
Harsh words from the past begin floating around in my head, making me hate myself as I stare at the beautiful girl in front of me, rummaging through my fridge. I'd outed her biggest secret just because I was curious about it.
How could I have been so blind? So stupid?
How on Earth has she ever forgiven me?
I thought she'd have been gone in a week, thought she wasn't pretty enough to be with Scar and Seb...but now...
I can't imagine my life without her.
I want Ellie in my life... forever.
I want to wake up to those wild curls in my face, to those sexy legs thrown across mine. I want to wake up with her in my shirt. I want to wake up to her head on my chest, to her hands touching me.
I want to wake up to her.
I want all of her.
"You okay?" she asks me, suddenly standing in front of me as her soft hands caress my jawline. "You went away for a minute there," her lips stretch into a small smile, eyes searching mine.
