Chapter 2

"Rikako-san?"

I only look at her with confused face. Look at her eyes, I don't understand what is she thinking. She is smiling. After that she only sat beside me and lean her head to my shoulder. She is older than me but so small compared to me. What now?

"Mei.. when first time Papa told me about you, I don't like you. Because I have to share my room with you." She said.

"Hm." I responded.

"But I think it's not that bad. You can become my little sister now." She added.

I only glance at her. Little sister? I never feel like become someone's little sister. Enough with two brothers that I have. If I can, I just want to live alone. That way will make me work hard to get money and I can use it to play game that I like so much.

"Why are you only silent? You don't like it?" She said.

"I-"

Knock knock!!

"Yaa?" She said.

"Papa called you two. It's time for Mei to go back home." Her Mama's voice answered.

"Ok Mama, we are coming."

She grabbed my hand and pulled me "Let's go Mei."

"Hm? What time is it? How long did I fall asleep?" I looked so confuse. Is it not just a couple of minutes?

"You sat down like that a couple of hours. I want to move you to bed, but..." She said.

Wow maybe that's answer why my waist feels sore. I need a soft bed right now.

"Thank you" I cut her.

We are coming to living room and look that my dad ready to go.

"Come Mei. Next month you will move to here." Dad said.

I nodded. "Hm?" I couldn't pull my hand. "Ano..." I looked at Rikako while trying pull my hand.

"Ah, sorry." She said.

She looked so sad when she let go of my hand. Why? I really don't understand what is she thinking till now.

"Hey Bro, why didn't let Mei stay here from now on? We can handle the document while she is here. Not a problem, right?" Otousan said. My dad only looks at his best friend and look at me.

"Is that ok?" He said.

I nodded while look at him in the eyes. I glance at Rikako, look at her face we can tell that she is happy. What? Is she really happy to have a little sister like me? We just met today and we are still a stranger, right? Weird.

After my dad leave, she grabbed my hand and said "Let's go back to our room" while smiling.

"Rikako..don't forget dinner will be ready. You and Mei didn't have lunch, right? Don't you feel hungry?" Her Mama said.

That made me remember how hungry I am right now. E? She was skip lunch too?

"Yes Mama..." She answered.

While walking to her room. Oops maybe I have to call it our room. "Why?" I asked.

"Why? What do you mean?" She smiled.

"Of course, you know what I mean right?! Rika." Suddenly she stopped. Turned around and looked at me with a little shocked face. What? What is that expression means? Did I say something wrong?

She pulled me so fast to our room and then closed the door. "You remember!!!" while She hug me.
