Chapter 10: Oh snap

An: I'm posting another chapter before I return into a short hibernation. I'm working on three other books, so I'm not even sleeping at this point. Love you guys and thanks for the support!

YN's pov:

Ladybug's eyes widen considerably after what I said. "Spidey, I-" she starts, but I cut her off.

"It's okay. It's not like I'll tell anyone. I know the consequences. That's why I hide my identity too." I say as I put an arm over her shoulder. "Your secret is safe with me Marinette." I whisper in her ear.

She stands there, eyes wide, not moving an inch.

"Anyway I gotta go. I have to wake up kinda early tomorrow." I state as I swing away before she can say anything.

"So we're meeting after school today for physics?" I ask Alya as we walk out of class. "Yeah. You still okay with meeting at your place?" She inquires as we stop at her locker.

I lean on the one next to hers and cross my arms. "Yeah of course. My aunt still isn't back yet, so... it's not as if it would bother anyone." I explain whilst Alya exchanges books in her bag.

"Alright then. I'll see you later girl. I'll let Adrien and Nino know." She says before we depart.

I go into an alley nearby the school, and put my suit on.

I web my schoolbag to the wall, and swing up to the roof of the nearest building. Swinging around Paris to see if anyone needs anything is one of my favourite things to do.

Not only is it fun, but sometimes I hear the dumbest stuff. I land on a roof overlooking a random street, when I guy notices me.

"Hey! Aren't you that Spidergirl from the news!?" He yells up to me catching multiple people's attention.

"Yeah!" I yell back.

"Can you do a flip!?" He yells out to me, making me laugh.

I accept his request and do, thanks to my superpowers, a perfect flip. "Awesome!" He exclaims.

"Anything else?" I ask. "No thanks." I laugh before telling him to have nice day then swinging off.

I land on a different building, and look at Paris.

"Lovely weather to explore Paris, isn't it Milady?" "Jesus Christ kitty you almost gave me a heart attack." I state with a hand over my chest.

"Aw. You really must love me then." He says, making me roll my eyes.

"So what's up? There isn't an attack is there?" I ask him, concerned for a moment. He shakes his head and simply says "I assume I'm out here fore the same reason as you." He explains before sitting on the ledge.

"And what would that be?" I question as I sit down next to him. "A moment of freedom." He states bluntly.

"Fair enough. So how's your day been?" I ask, swinging my feet.

"Good. I'm really tired though" he says with a yawn. "I can tell" I laugh.

"What about you?" He asks, turning to face me.

"Well... I stopped this guy's bike from being stolen," I start listing off things with my fingers. "This guy asked me to do a flip, I bought a slushie, I helped some people cross the street... Ooh! And this old lady bought me a churro!" I say with excitement.

Chat laughs for some reason.

"What?" I question feeling slightly insecure for a second.

"Nothing. You're just so enthusiastic Milady. It's cute." He says.

I can feel my face heat up under my mask. Then I remember something.

"Do you know what time it is?" I ask him urgently. "Damn. It's almost four." He says. "I need to be somewhere!" We both exclaim at the same time. We look at each other and laugh, then say our goodbyes.

I get back to my house and sneakily enter through the window. I crawl on my roof because why the hell not, and then drop down near the fridge.

I take my mask off, and open it looking for something to drink.

Then I hear the sound of a phone camera behind me. I turn around to see Alya holding her phone out, and Nino with his jaw agape.

"Well.... at least Adrien isn't here yet."
