Chapter 11: Don't Be Suspicious

AN: I'm not gonna have WiFi while I'm gone. So I wanna wish you all happy holidays, and I hope you have an amazing summer. I love you guys.

It's been two weeks since that day. Luckily Alya and Nino haven't told anyone. Although your agreement with Alya has been pretty taxing.

"Well... what can I say except delete that." You said gesturing to the phone that just took your photo. Neither of them said a word, so you walked up to them, grabbed the phone, and deleted the picture yourself. As you forced the phone back into Alya's, hand you heard a car pull into your driveway.

"Shit. That might be Adrien. You guys can't tell him." You requested. The two exchanged worried looks but still don't say a word. "Come on, I'll owe you guys." You pleaded.

"Do I get exclusive story rights?" Alya spoke up. You thought for a moment, then you heard a car door close. "Yes! Call me after any akuma attack and I'll do an interview or whatever. Now promise not to tell anyone?" You rushed through your sentence, eyeing the hallway leading to the front door.

"Okay. But you have some questions to answer girl." Alya said, just as the doorbell rang.

You smiled, but then noticed you were still in your suit. "Fuck! Nino, get the door. Both of you distract him. I need to change." You explained. They nodded and you ran upstairs.

Even though they have kept their part of the deal, there have been many close calls. Either when a friend comes by as the two bombard you with questions, or when they are acting like undercover cops and people ask them what's wrong.

Adrien has been suspicious all week. It started when Alya, Nino and you were whispering about it before class. When he asked what you were talking about, Nino freaked out. 'N-nothing! Hey what's that over there?' Was his response. Alya then punched him in the shoulder to shut him up, which only made things worse.

When Adrien asked you, you told him you couldn't say. He seemed upset, which was understandable... but he's stopped talking to you as much. The worst part is, you were just becoming close. You mainly bonded over anime and fencing.

So school hasn't been that pleasant recently.

Your favourite part of the day now, is either hanging out with friends after school, or fighting crime with your miraculous hero friends. Today... it's hanging out with friends.

"I swear, it's adorable how much you like him." Rose says to Marinette, happily. The bluenette blushes furiously, and looks at the table. "Aw, come on Mari! We're just teasing. I do ship it though." Juleka says, causing Marinette to send her an unamused look.

"I can see it already. Adrienette." You say, waving one hand in the air as you say the ship name.

"Guysssssss. It's not gonna happen. I can't even talk to him." She whines before putting her head in her hands. "Cheer up, girl! Baby steps." Alya states, patting the distressed girl's shoulder. Marinette whines loudly and we all laugh a little

"It's all gonna work out. Anyway, Yn? Should we go?" Juleka asks you, standing up. You nod with a smile and stand up as well. "Where are you off to?" Marinette asks, raising her head.

"I'm sleeping at Juleka's tonight." You explain, earning nods from the others. You all say goodbye, before heading to Juleka's house-boat.
