Boy Meets Me (GMW)

Chapter 3

I lay on Rileys bed squinting my eyes at her as she tells her parents she wants to sleepover at Maya's house. When they leave the room they sigh before looking over at me and becoming tense again.

"Whatever you two are going to do I'm going to figure out." I get off Riley's bed and enter into the guest room I will be staying in. 

I chill for quite the amount of time. I read and write a little before deciding it's time to get ready to go to sleep. 

As I am about to take a shower Auggie knocks on my door.

I open the door and tilt my head at the cute little kid I haven't properly talked to. 

"I know that you don't like people touching you but could you come play with me a little in my room."

He such a cute boy. I ruffle his hair and say "I will but you can't tell anybody."

He nods and follow him to his room. He play for about 30 minutes before I say "Imma go take a shower and come back. Remember this is a secret."

"I can keep a secret. I keep lots of secrets."

I squint my eyes at him then I remember the girls. "Auggie do you know what the girls are going to be doing tonight?"

I found the dorm they are in. Seems like Josh and them met before I got here.

I here Riley's voice "Maya can you name one thing about him that you love."

I hear Maya say "He's part of your family Riley. I love your family."

Riley says "We love you. What about Josh in particular?"

I lean on the door frame as Josh butts in and says "Yeah Maya. You don't even really know me."

I decide to make my entrace and say "I wouldn't be too sure about that Josh."

A black boy stands up and says in flirty tone "Who are you-" then he stops abruptly "Are you in middle school too?" and backs up with hands up.

"I don't know If I should be offended or not. I'm not in middle school honey. Just here cause I found out these kiddos were here."

The black boy comes forward towards me again "You can call me Ray like the sun and if you keeping looking so hard you will be blinded."

He smirks "Blinded by your beauty."

I glare at him hard and say "No. Now sit down"

He immediately goes to sitting down.

"Now Maya tell us what you know about Joshy here."

"Your right I don't know anything about you. I don't know how you drove straight to New York to open your letter in front of your family becaue you love them and want to make your big brother proud. I don't know how you always make time for Auggie who looks up to you and how you are great with him. And I don't know how that even though you would rather stay with these girls you are going to walk me and Riley cuz that's the type of person you are."

The dark-skinned looks at Josh and says "Dude what's wrong with you!"

I smirk at the dude's comment "He's messed up in the head. Probably get's it from his brother."

Josh stands up and says "She's three younger then me."

The two college girls say "Sit down"

He goes to sit down and stands right back up saying "No, no because I sat down the first time and I feel like if I sit down this timee..." he stops moving his finger and puts it on his hip and slowly says "It won't reflect very well on me."
