A/N: Finally I got the headcanon to go up there. It did not want to cooperate so I had to screenshot it, then crop it, etc... Anyway, three updates today, Yay! I thought this headcanon was cool so I am expanding on it. It is not mine. Neither are any of the others.
Percy's POV:
My son was playing outside while I was tidying up in the kitchen. Annabeth was upstairs trying to get our two-year-old daughter, Selina, to go to sleep. My son, Charlie, had just gotten home from school then grabbed his toys and went to play outside in the front yard. Since I was doing dishes and there was a window above the sink I could watch him play. I may be a little irresponsible, but I would never let anything happen to my kids.
After a while of Charlie playing outside, the middle schoolers started to get off the bus. Since they get home later than the elementary school kids, I can see them walking past when Charlie is playing outside.
Today Charlie is playing with his action figures. When the middle schoolers got to our house on the way home, they stopped in front of Charlie. I put down the dish I was cleaning to give my full attention to what was happening outside. When I saw the kid in the middle smack the action figure out of Charlie's hand and tease him, I was about to go outside and yell at them. Then, I remembered there was a full sprinkler system I could put to use.
I felt a tug in my gut as I turned on the sprinklers. I aimed them right at the older boys. They got soaked while Charlie was sitting on the lawn, dry, and laughing his head off. They screamed in surprise, dropped the toy in the grass, and ran off.
From that day on they always walked on the other side of the street.
A/N: I hope you like this one. I think this is the first time I have written Percy's POV.
