Nico at Hogwarts

A/N: I was reading Harry Potter and this idea got stuck in my head. 

Nico's Pov:

If Chiron is making me go to school to look for demigods, at least it's in a cool-looking castle. Most demigods are American, but sometimes there are demigods from other countries, like Frank. 

Anyway, when I got to the school--Hogwarts? I think that's what it's called.--I was sorted into Slytherin, I made one friend, his name is Albus. He told me he was named after a great wizard-- did I forget to mention that this is a school for wizards and witches? I did. Whoops.--who used to be a headmaster here. I still think it's a weird name though. 

I've now been here for a month and haven't found and demigods. I don't think there's any here, but when I try to tell Chiron that he just says that he thinks there is one and I should keep looking. 

You may be asking why I'm here instead of a sayter, well, after the war with Gaea, there were so many new demigods, so Chiron sent the demigods that weren't busy to go to schools and look for new demigods. 

Just FYI, I was busy. I was busy sleeping in, and hanging out with my new friends, and going on picnics with Will. I guess Chiron doesn't consider that busy enough. 

Speaking of Will, I really miss him. When I left, we had only been dating for a month and I had no idea I wold miss him so much. Sure, I have my friend Albus here, but it's not the same. 

Two months later, I saw a girl version of Will, which only made me miss him more. "This must be the demigod, probably a daughter of Apollo" I thought. I went up to her and we became friends.

About a month later Harper and I were sitting under a tree in our robes. Her's were yellow because she's a Hufflepuff. Once I got to know her I immediately saw why.

Once we started talking I found a casual way to bring up family. Winter break was coming up so I said "Hey, what are you doing for the holidays? Are you going to celebrate with your mom and dad?" When I said that I mentally patted myself on the back for being subtle.

"I probably just going to hang out with my mom. I've never met my dad." Harper said with a sad look on her face, when she looked up though, it disappeared. 

That's the last piece of evidence I needed. I already knew she had ADHD and dyslexia. I could tell from just being in one class with her. 

"Why don't you come spend the holidays with my family and I? I can come talk to your mom before we leave." She looked so happy when I said that. Her mom was always busy with work, even during the holidays,  so she would probably let her go. 

When winter break started, Harper and I sat with Albus on the train back to Kings Cross. When we got there I went with Harper back to her house to talk with her mom. I didn't know if Apollo--or the god she had a kid with, but probably Apollo--reveled himself to her, but I was hoping he did because it would make my job a lot easier. 

When we got there Harper knocked on the door. When it opened, I saw a light brown haired lady looking at us through green eyes. Her eyes reminded me of the staindglass window of a church I would pass on my way home from school when I was younger. She looked to be in her mid-thirties. 

"Hello Harper, dear!" She said while opening her arms to embrace her daughter. When they were done hugging she noticed me. "And who might you be?" She questioned. "Nico Di Angelo, nice to meet you Mrs..." "Oh, dear, just call me Melody." She told me. I can see now why she caught the attention of Apollo. 

Harper went in to put her bags in her room, when I heard her footsteps die down I face Melody. "May I speak to you privately?" Her face turns to a confused look, but she leads me to the living room. Once we sit down I start "It's about Harper's dad." Her look softens a little as she realizes whats happening. "He told me this would happen, he said she would need to leave one day, I just didn't think it would be so soon." She confided. I was relieved. "So he told you who he was then?" I asked. "Yes, Harpers dad is Apollo, but please don't tell her yet. I want to do it." "Ok, but once she knows more monsters will come after her and I need to get her to camp, it's in New York." I told her. "Okay." She said. Melody didn't look ready to let her daughter go but she knew she had to. 

When Harper came downstairs, I gave them space to talk. I waited in the hallway until Harper came out looking stunned. 

She turned towards me, with her mom behind her, and asked "So you knew that I'm a-a demigod?" I nodded "So who's your godly parent?" She asked me. "Hades" I replied. 

Before we left Harper's house, I iris-messaged Will to tell him that he has a new sister and that he should probably wait by the border for us because I would be shadow traveling. He tried to tell me no, but I just closed the message. 

When I was done, Harper and I walked outside and I brought us to camp. I haden't used my powers in months, so I was able to go a longer distance. 

We came out of the shadows right on the top of Half-blood hill. Becasue I haden't had much practice with my powers while I was at Hogwarts I began to fall. 

"Not so fast Death Boy." Will said as he caught me. "Thanks," I said, then as an after thought "and don't call me Death Boy." When I said this, Will bent his knees so he was my height and said "Dang it, I thought I was going to get away with it that time." Before I had time to respond he gave me a quick kiss. I missed this.

Harper's Pov:

When they kissed, I'm not gonna lie, I was a little sad. I had a small crush on Nico, but overall I was happy for him. I'm not going to be one of those bratty girls who try to break them up or anything. 

When he was done talking to Nico, Will came over to me and said "So, it looks like I have a new sister. I'm Will Solace, son of Apollo." When I was able to see his face, I was shocked to see that he looked like the guy version of me, just a little taller. "Yeah, it looks that way."

The three of us walked into camp and I was amazed. There were people everywhere, cabins all decorated differently, and a big blue house in the middle of it all. 

After I took it all in Will and Nico started to lead me to the "Big house." I don't know, that's just what they called it. Half way there people started to look at me. I stoped and asked "Why is everyone looking at me?" "Probably because you're being claimed." Nico replied while looking up. I looked up too and say a golden lyre symbol floating above me. I instinctively knew that it was Apollo's symbol. 

When I looked back down, everyone was on their knees. "All hail Harper, daughter of Apollo." They all said. I didn't know how they all knew my name, but I didn't have time to figure it out because Will and Nico were already heading toward the blue house, hand in hand. I had to jog to catch up. 

When we got to the porch of the house and older man in a wheel chair began to tell me more about camp. I can tell I am going to like it here. 

A/N: I think the big house is blue, don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure. Let me know what you think and leave suggestions for stories you want me to right. I would love to hear them.
