Mortals Meet Solangelo

A/N: I know that these stories are really overdone, but I personally love reading these and I am going to try to make this a bit different. I may do one in the future about Nico meeting Will's mortal family. Let me know if you would read that. 

Nico's POV:

BRING! 

Finally, the last bell of the day. This is one of the rare occasions where I am genuinely excited for the rest of the day. Will and I are going on a date. We're going out to dinner. I'm a bit skeptical of going out in public, but Will says things have changed since the 1940s. This should be evident to me because I am out in public all the time because of school, but I'm not exactly sure how accepting everyone is. 

"Nico!" I heard my name being called just as I was about to get into my car. I turned around to see that it was my mortal friend Allison. "Hey, Ally," I yelled back. She made her way over to me. "I told you not to call me that." She gave me a playful glare, even though I know she was dead serious. "You looked happy today. That's a first." I then told her that I had a date tonight, but that's all I would say. I would not say where or with whom. She tried to get the information out of me, but I eventually just left. 

I went back to camp and met up with Will. I couldn't even get over Half-Blood Hill before Will tackled me into a hug and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. I could've stayed there for hours. 

"Let's hang out in your cabin until dinner. The reservations aren't till later." Then Will pulled me to my cabin without waiting for a response. 

When we got to my cabin I said "Can I have a real kiss now?" "What? A kiss on the cheek not good enough Death Boy?" Will retorted. "No, just kiss me," I told him. "Of course." And then we were kissing. 

After what turned into a make-out session, we decided it was time to get ready for dinner. Apparently, we were going to eat at a fancy(ish) Italian restaurant. Will left to go get changed while I picked out some black pants, some of the only ones that weren't jeans, a casual dress shirt, and a black blazer. It was at this moment that I realized that Will had never seen me in fancier clothing. I thought "What if he doesn't like it?" I didn't have time to change because he had just entered the cabin. "Where are you." His voice echoed the small cabin. "Back here," I said, indicating the back of the cabin where the closet is. 

"Wow," Will said when he came in. He literally dropped his new monster-proof phone that Leo made. Good thing those phones are Leo proof. "Nico, you-uh-look...wow," That was apparently all he was going to say. "Is it really that good?" I said in disbelief. There was no way that I could make him stutter like that. "Will!" I said when he didn't respond. "What? Oh sorry," He was turning red. "I was busy staring at how gorgeous you look." "Whatever dork." I was now turning red too, you can see it more clearly on my pale skin than you can on Will. "C'mon, we'll be late." With that, we left camp and headed to dinner. 

We were about halfway through our amazing dinner when the one thing that I didn't want to happen, happened. Ally walked in with her family. I prayed to all the gods that they wouldn't come near us, but just my luck that they were seated two tables down and opposite from us. "That's my friend from school, I don't want her to see us." "Why not?" Will asked. "I don't exactly know how she feels about me dating another guy, I haven't exactly told her and this was not how I wanted too. Plus what if she doesn't like it and decides to tell the whole school?" I explained. "Oh okay." 

I saw Allison look over at me and give me a confused glance. "You know what? I don't care. I'm here to have a good time with you, so screw what she thinks." I told Will. He looked up from his plate and smiled at me. 

I could see that Allison was excusing herself from her table. She started to walk toward us. "Hey, Nico. Just thought since I saw you here I'd say hi." "Hi, Allison. This is my boyfriend, Will." I could tell that Will was surprised I introduced him like that, but I love him and shouldn't have to hide that from anybody. "Oh Hello. It's nice to meet you." She said to him. "Nice to meet you too! Any friend of Neeks is a friend of mine." She smiled at him. "What did I say about calling me that!" I glared at Will. "You love it." I would never admit it, but I did. 

"Anyway it was nice meeting you Will, have fun on your date, you guys," Allison said and left before I could say anything. 

"That went really well," Will said. "Yeah, it did." After that our dinner went on and then we went back to my cabin for a movie and cuddles.
