The way Ruel interacted with Tilly was adorable. He treated her like a princess, letting her try as many ice cream flavors as she wanted, lifting her up or putting her on his shoulders so that she could see the colourful array of ice cream tubs even the way he held her hand as we walked along the pavement.
God I can't wait to have children with him.. NO LAIYA YOU ARE TOO YOUNG. I thought to myself but it was true I did want to have children but did he want children, I mean they would probably get in the way of his career. Maybe a few years time... if we are even still together. No Laiya stop thinking like this. I was very quickly brought out of my daze
"Hey lay I can't do anything tonight or tomorrow morning cause Nate wants me in the studio but do you want to go to a party tomorrow night?" He said resting his hand on my thigh whilst still focusing on the road
"Yea sounds good" I said shifting my gaze to him
"Great well I will pick you up tomorrow at 7" He said smiling at me
"Okay just ring the bell when you arrive I'm sure that If I don't let you in mum will" I said resting my hand on top of his
"You're gonna meet my friends!" he said happily
"Oh yea I will" I said trying my hardest to not sound so nervous, but he clearly caught on
"Don't worry I am sure they will like you just as much as I do" Ruel said making me feel calmer
After 5 minutes of jamming out to Tyler we had arrived at my house, I gave Ruel a peck on the lips before saying thank you and hopping out of the car. He gave me a smile and a wave whilst watching me enter the house.
Time skip to 6pm the next day
Ruel's pov
Although I am excited for Laiya to meet my friends I am also extremely nervous, I mean I know they will like her but Mary will not. She has always been jealous ever since we had feelings for each other a year and a half ago. We never dated just mutual feelings which I slowly lost and I assumed she did too, however sometimes I get people telling me that she still has feelings for me. Though I know for a fact I don't have feelings for her anymore, all my love and attention goes to Laiya now, we are perfect for each other and she truly understands me. Ive been dazed from the first time I saw her in that tiny green room in the opera house. I really love her though I haven't told her yet and I'm not planning on telling her just yet, only when the timing is right.
