Chapter : Twenty-seven

 Beam opened his eyes and was surprised.  He breathes heavily.  Cold sweat ran down his forehead.  He breathed a sigh of relief when he realized that what he had just experienced was only a dream.  He looked at Forth's dozing face and smiled with relief.

 "He's still alive" whispered Beam, holding out his hand and was about to touch Forth's face but he canceled his intention.  He did not want to wake Forth.

 Beam gets up slowly and puts on his clothes.  He grabbed his cellphone and looked at the clock that showed 4 o'clock in the morning.  Beam looked back at Forth who was still sleeping in his bed.  Beam smiled faintly.  He hoped that this could be a view of his future but he knew that the future was something that was uncertain between them.

 Slowly Beam walked back to bed.  He directed his cellphone and took a picture of Forth.  He smiled with satisfaction seeing the results.  He was already grateful enough to have this moment with Forth.

 "Goodbye" Beam whispered before he went down to the first floor.  

 Beam stays sedentary in his dark living room.  He did not want to wake Earth but it seemed too late.

 "Stop!"  Beam can hear someone threatening him and the sound of weapons being locked.

 Beam raised his hands and turned his body slowly.  Earth was shocked.  He lowered his weapon.

 "Beam?"

 Beam smiled faintly and lowered his hands.

 "You, how did you come in? And wait! Are you coming from your room ? Are you staying here?"  Earth looked at Beam and the stairs to the second floor alternately.

 "Wait a minute ... You and him ..." Earth looked at Beam in disbelief.  Beam smiled faintly and walked towards Earth.

 "You have to fix the security system here. I can easily enter, what if Phana's men can do it too?"  Beam protest.

 Earth looked at Beam sharply.  He could feel something between Beam and Forth but because Beam chose not to say anything he would also shut his mouth.

 "You didn't come here to see me, right?"  Said Earth a little disappointed.

 Beam walked slowly and stood before Earth "glad to see you"

 "Tch ... don't need to make small talk with me," protested Earth.

 Beam chuckled.

 "I left the file in Phi Forth's room, see you later"

 Earth nodded.

 "Lam said he would work together and thank you for sending Mingkwan"

 Beam smiled faintly "I did nothing. What Mingkwan did was purely his own decision"

 Earth smiled faintly.

 "Um ... I have to go," Beam said.

 "I'll drop you off," Earth said.  Beam said nothing and followed Earth.  Two guards at the gate were sound asleep.  Earth shook his head.

 "I will replace them" Decisively Earth.

 Beam chuckled.  They stopped and stood in front of the gate without saying anything for a moment.  After some time, suddenly the Earth pulled Beam and hugged him.  Beam was surprised.  

 "Take care," said Earth.  Beam sighed.  He patted the back of Earth.

 "Don't worry. I'll take good care of myself," he said.

 Earth sighed and released Beam.  Beam turned slowly and left Earth but he suddenly stopped.  He turned his body and looked at Earth.  

 "If something bad happens to me, can you tell Phi Forth that this is not his fault"
