Chapter Two

"Good night sir"

 Forth glanced at his secretary who appeared in front of the door.  Forth glanced at the clock in his hand.  It's 8 o'clock at night

 "Oh, at this hour, you should  go home first," Forth said, removing his glasses and stretching his stiff muscles. "I'll finish some work first," he said.

 His secretary nodded but was still reluctant to go "Do you want to buy a night suit?"  He asked.

 Forth looked at his secretary and smiled faintly "No thanks"

 His secretary sighed and looked at Forth for a moment.  He and several employees knew that his boss had been staying at the office for several months.  They also know the reason.  But no one dares to interfere with the affairs of the Jamornhum family.

 "Then ..." his secretary said as he slowly left the boss alone.  Forth smiled and nodded.  He invited his secretary home.

 Forth stared at the door that was closing slowly.  He put the document in his hand on the table and took a deep breath.  He closed his eyes for a moment before he walked to the refrigerator located to the right of his desk.  He pulled out a can of beer and drank it while looking out the window.  Bangkok's streets look crowded this Sunday night.

 Bangkok has become a place of life, a home for him.  Although he studied abroad for many years, Bangkok has always been a memorable place for him.  Only by closing his eyes, Forth knew every inch of this place.  He and his brothers used to control the city of Bangkok as a playground.  He and his brothers are known as "Young Master Jamornhum".  He used to not understand why no one dared to touch them if they made a fuss.  He knew his father was so powerful but he did not understand the reason why his father was so respected.  He thinks that everyone is reluctant to his father because he has lots of money and lots of important friends.  He enjoyed being part of the Jamornhum family because no one dared to touch him.

 But since returning from abroad, he realized what a dirty business his family was doing.  Now He sees Bangkok as a different place.  The glitter of this city keeps the darkness hidden behind it.  Its charming entertainment business, with its handsome and beautiful looks, its charming tourism, invites tourists to come, and its glamorous nightlife is so brightly lit all over the world that it covers the gloomy life of violence in Bangkok, illegal business, corruption, collusion and  circulation of prohibited objects.

 After knowing all that, Forth tried to stay away from his family.  He started his own legal, digital and financial business.  He recruited Lam, a family he thought he could save to join his father's dirty business.  But his father's influence is greater.  Lam prefers his father rather than himself.

 Forth sighed and drank his beer.

 It is true that people say that it is difficult to get into the Jamornhum family what else to get out of there.  Everyone who entered felt they were indebted to the Jamornhum family.  Slowly they will get used to the dirty business.  Being part of the Jamornhum family means bearing the same burden.  Most loyal because they feel luxurious and comfortable living under the protection of his father.  Those who have a conscience and choose to get out of their confinement will think twice about coming out.  Because those who leave usually end up not knowing the jungle anymore, going to jail, or lying rigid.

 Forth sighed again

 "Will he kill me too if I oppose him?"  Asked Forth silently.

 Forth woke up from his reverie when he heard the sound of his cellphone vibrate.  Forth walked to his desk and saw a phone call from his father.  Reluctantly Forth answered his father's call.
