The sound of metal against stone echoed dangerously around Acraza as he made his way up the spiral staircase, his armor-encrusted body clanging with each step.
When he reached the top of the tower, he saw him. The Hive commander sat on his throne, sharpening his sword against a jagged rock.
"Sir, we have received news that a guardian ship is inbound." Acraza said.
"A guardian ship?" The commander asked in a deep, menacing voice.
"Yes, sir." Acraza responded.
The commander suddenly let out a deep, cruel laugh, the likes of which would make anyone get shivers down their spine.
"Let them come." The commander ordered. "They will never make it back to their precious Traveler."
"Yes, Harake."
As Acraza hurried back down the stairs, Harake, still with his back turned, closed his three eyes and breathed deeply. He opened them again and gave a smile that would make death itself quiver in fear.
