Garter reached down and grabbed the arm attached to the hand and pulled the figure out of the secret tunnel.
He and Kel heard a yelp and a clunk as Garter pulled Jel out onto the floor of the room.
"Jel! What were you doing in there?" Kel asked.
Jel sat up and rubbed his head. "After I fell into the trap, I made my way into a corridor, and then climbed up back there," Jel gestured behind him. "Then I found a metal wall and pushed on it, and reached out and tried to grab something to pull me up. I guess that was your arm, Garter."
They all smiled, but were shaken out of it by screeching. Hundreds of Thrall dashed from around the corner right at them.
