The weekends arrived, I can feel the ease and tranquility of my mind. This past few days are literally a hell week to me.
The hectic days are exhausting, not even in school but also at work. Everything makes me feel giddy and woozy all the time, and that includes our serious talk with Lianne yesterday.
"This is really bad", as I whispered gruffly.
Eversince we had that conversation, hindi ko maalis sa isip ang lahat kaya I feel so restless and weary. But this weekend, I need to loosen up. It's 9:35 in the morning, and I'm still stuck on my bed.
"You're totally wasted",
Napaangat ako ng tingin sa taong nagsalita. "Yeah, definitely a doom victim of school works", I gasped as my forehead crumpled.
"Don't beat yourself too much. Get up and get dress 'cause we're going out", she said eagerly.
Nanlaki ang mata ko sa kanyang sinabi.
"Woah, Samielle is inviting me. Iba 'to, nilagnat ka ba?", I said as I teased.Napailing ito sa akin. "Come on, I want to loosen up also. Let's not condemn our minds, yet let's find peace", mahaba nitong sabi sa akin.
Napamaang nalang ako sa kanyang sinabi. Sometimes, Samielle uses idioms to express on something. Most of the words she said totally hit me though, minsan nga halos kabisaduhin na niya lahat 'yong mga famous lines sa isang libro.
I smiled widely. "Okay, gotta change now", tumango naman ito at saka lumabas na.
I let out a sigh after she left. We've been roommates since SHS, and mostly we hangout a lot. Samielle is a type of girl that never left her book alone. She's a bookworm and an introvert person though, but we both clicked in everything.
Actually, we have the same likes and dislikes. We both love to read books, listening to music and we both hate parties and crowded places. Madaming pinagkaiba si Samielle at Lianne but I love them both.
I'm wearing an extra warm pullover and a black denim pants which really fit to my short wavy hair. Everything was settled and I'm really excited to our friendly date right now.
"Hey, lets go", she said shortly.
Napatingin ako sa kanya. "So, are we gonna use your car or magco-commute tayo?", I asked.
She heaved a sigh. "I'm sorry Savel, Percule was acting shit yesterday so we can't use him today", She pleaded.
This girl is a totally weirdo. Lahat ng bagay na importante sa kanya binibigyan niya ng pangalan and those names are fictional characters in her favorite books.
"Seriously Sam?, kahit kotse may pangalan?", I said as my forehead creased.
Napanguso ito. "Percule isn't a bad name", she said as she shrugged her shoulders.
Napailing nalang ako sa kanyang sinabi. Minsan talaga kakaiba 'to si Samielle but still I love her personality. Si Samielle kasi mabait, matulungin and a silent type person. Masyadong hindi makabasag pinggan ito.
Her parents raised her for being prim and proper. I'm not saying that I'm one of those squatters, but I do talked like squatters.
Kapag kami ni Lianne kasi ang magkasama, we talked like shits on everything. Itong si Sam kasi iba, I never heard her cussed something even in a lightly cursed nor spitting some of vile oaths.
