"You literally gave a headache to everyone", ito ang bungad ni Samielle sa akin nang makapasok na ako sa apartment.
"I was bombarded with queries like I'm in a sort of a serious quest on where to find his condo", patuloy niyang pag-rereklamo na para bang nanay na nag-aalala sa kanyang anak.
"Seriously Savel? Bakit hindi ka umuwi agad? Pinag-alala mo kaming lahat", kitang-kita ko sa kanyang mga mata ang pag-aalala nito sa akin habang sinisermonan ako.
"It's my fault, I insisted her to stay more longer in my condo", biglang singit ni Rain sa amin kaya napatingin bigla si Samielle sa likod.
Her mouth went dropped when she saw him holding two grocery bags. She certainly in a stiff position right now which she cannot move nor speak something. She will definitely ask something about this, halatang-halata ang kanyang pagkalito.
"May bisita pala tayo", saad nito, bumaling ang tingin niya sa akin na tila ang mga mata niya ay nagtatanong kung bakit narito ito.
"Long story, I'll just explain in another time", I said, showing my uncertain smile to her.
"You should be, everyone was worried", she stated seriously.
She then lifted her gaze to him. "Hi Rain, Good evening", she greeted to him, wearing her gracious smile.
He nodded to her. "Good evening too, sorry for the conflict", sabi nito kay Samielle, at saka bumaling sa akin.
I took out the groceries we bought, I separate the perishable goods and the things are not meant in the refrigerator.
"I'm sorry", napatingala ako sa kanya, confused and dazed on what he said.
"Don't mind it, I enjoyed your company", sabi ko sa kanya at pinagpatuloy ang aking ginagawa.
"You look tired, are you okay?", he said softly, nag-alalang nakatingin sa akin.
I tiredly smiled on what he said. Hearing this to the person who you met few days ago was not really an expectation. In some circumstances, it hit the right spot to me. It definitely give impact though, dahil sa totoo lang madami talaga akong iniisip palagi. And no one ever tried to ask me that way, not even my family nor my friends. But this person dared to asked and unmasked my thoughts.
I sighed deeply. "I'm just tired, but I never dared to stop", makahulugang sabi ko sa kanya.
He went into my side and instantly grabbed my waist slowly, kaya kusa akong napaharap sa kanya. I met his warm stares, and I could decipher on what's apprised on his eyes. It tells me that everything is fine, it will cast away sooner. But the gesture he made never left my heart hanging to beat.
Niyakap niya ako at hinagkan ang aking noo. "It's okay, I'm here Savel", he whispered.
I suddenly looked at him with my mesmerizing eyes which notify my admiration to him.
"Thank you", tipid kong sabi sa kanya.
May kinuha siya do'n, isang kawali.
"Come on, teach me how to cook", agaran niyang sabi sa akin at saka kinuha ang sandok.
I chuckled delightedly. "A'right, brace yourself Mr. Reyes, I'm gonna show you my expertise in cooking", I said proudly.
