Chapter 10

*Moonwatcher point of view*

"Winter will die" Moon whispered. She was scared enough before this, but now... He was literally going to his death. Her head was in panic, she couldn't figure out what was vision and what was imagination. Kinkajou was with a green color, this indicated her fear.

"By the three moons" Kinkajou cried "We have to help him! Without our help he will die in 5 seconds! You will help him, won't you?" she looked at Moon with "won't-you-do-nothing" face. She turned around and saw the white shadow of Winter. Qibli and Moon were too shocked to answer Kinkajou's question.

"I..I.. We have to think. If there is three adults dragons there, we can't only arrive there and fight. But, if the royal family fight alongside us, we have a chance. So, I think the most clever idea is to examine the area first but, but Winter melted down our plans. Ha, melted it! Understood?" Qibli made a anxious smile. "He is as afraid as I" Moon thought. It was snowing more and more, it was getting hard to see Blaze Fortress.

"Yeah Qibli, this was the best plan but now we have to follow the plan B... Melt that Nightwing face! NOBODY threatens my friends!" Kinkajou roared. She was vibrant red now, with some green spots here and there. "Oh... Kinkajou, I wish this is that easy" Moon wished.

"We have to hurry up. Let's follow Kinkajou's plan, it's the best we can do now" Moon said. Kinkajou went first to the fortress. When she was far away from them, Qibli asked.

"Moon, you don't think we can only follow Kinkajou's plan, right?" He looked at Moon worried. She had seen this look so many times before...

"Qibli, we can't, I know. But Winter..."

"I'm worried about Winter too, but is a suicide mission to went there without a plan" Qibli interrupted "I made the calculation." if Qibli was right (and he was always right) Moon couldn't go there. But she couldn't lose Winter.

"So I'll die there with Winter" she said determined. "I will follow my heart. Nobody will stop me" she thought. Qibli looked at her, and smiled.

"And I will follow you"

The two dragons went quickly to the fortress. They found Kinkajou in front of a big door, she was with a cute green face. Qibli was obviously surprised that Kinkajou was still outside. They talked a little and Kinkajou explained what she had seen inside the fortress. She had gone camouflaged and she said that inside was very confuse, there was many rooms and that she hadn't see Winter. There was one Nightwing and one Icewing, but Kinkajou had seen four corpses of Icewings.

"They probably killed them when they were arriving here" Qibli guessed "But I'm worrying about one thing. Moon said there was three dragons, but Kinkajou only had seen two" Qibli looked at Moon. She knew what he was trying to say. And all suddenly, a vision came of Fierceteeth attacking them. Winter was injured, he couldn't move one single part of his body, Moon thought he was unconscious. Moon was injured and Fierceteeth was looking at Qibli ( the only one standing) with a psycho eyes.

"Stop! Don't kill him!" Qibli cried. The murderer started to laugh. Moon looked at her, only the single movement of moving her head was an enormous pain.

"Please... Kill me instead" He suplicate, but when Fierceteeth was going to make her final strike, all went dark. Moon was dead.

"MOON WAKE UP" Qibli shouted. Kinkajou was almost crying looking at her. She was again in front of the big door of the fortress, Qibli was holding Moon on his arms.

"I... Can't lose anyone..." she said crying "She is here"

"Oh my god, you are so intelligent" someone said with a sarcastic voice. Moon turned around, even if she knew who was saying that. Fierceteeth was more scary and violent than the last time they had met. Moon thought that was a new scar in her tail, but the fear was too much to her examine that more closely. Her black eyes were looking at them.

"Please, you don't have to do this. They hadn't done anything to you" Qibli said. The Sandwing was behind Kinkajou, with some kind of self-protective face.

"Ha, they hadn't done anything? Killing hundreds of Nightwings is nothing?" She asked, taking steps closer. "My friend, my tribe, everything. The Icewings ruined everything. I can't be myself again" Moon listened to Fierceteeth thought.

"I don't know how you know my plan. I only know that you know many things you mustn't know" She hissed "Time to die"
