Chapter 7

*Kinkajou's point of view*

When Kinkajou woke up it was almost midday. Moon and Winter weren't there. "AHH, why they wake up soooo early?" Kinkajou thought "But I can sleep more if they aren't here. They couldn't be far away from here". Kinkajou shot a blast of venom in the ground. She liked to practice and the sound of the ground melting was good.

"What color should I choose today, little plant?" she said.

"Great idea. Greenish blue with some silvers spots... I liked it!" Kinkajou said changing her colors. She looked back to the plant thoughtfully

"But... Ummm, I can look like Qibli, I think" she said to herself. She changed the color of her scales to pale yellow. "I can trick Moon and Winter! Ohhh yessss, this is a great idea" she thought.

"I think she is still sleeping." a distant voice said

"I bet not"

"I will give you a necklace if you are right. But if I won you will give me..."

" I think you are a jerk. Obviously I'm right Winter"

"Aham. I believe totally you." Winter said with a sarcastic voice

"If you won you can be an idiot"

"This isn't a prize. This is an insult"

"Ok, I will give you... A scavenger" the voice said. Now, Kinkajou could see them fling toward her. After some minutes, they were close enough to see her clearly.

"What... Qibli?" Winter said. Kinkajou wasn't the best to understand the feelings of dragons behind their faces, but Winter was clearly surprised, a little angry and kind of jealous of Moon. Kinkajou wasn't sure but she thought Winter was a little happy to see her pretending to be Qibli.

"Qibli? What are you doing here? You... Are you angry Qibli?" Moon asked

"If you are having some problems with me or Moon we can solve this. We will solve this, in an easy or hard way" Winter said threatening Kinkajou. Moon poked Winter hardly

"Qibli, if you want to say something, say now because we are going now to the Ice Kingdom." Moon said going closer to Kinkajou. "Wait a minute..."

"KINKAJOU!" Moon said. Winter came closer too, angry.

"Why did you do this?" Winter said, angry. Kinkajou could see that Winter was doing his best to don't shout.

"Oh my god! I loved it! You needed to see your faces!" Kinkajou said laughing. Moon was ashamed, probably because she said things she didn't want to say to Kinkajou. Winter was mad with her, obviously. It was cute the way Winter was mad, because in some way, Kinkajou knew that Winter was protecting Moon. He was a little overprotective.

"Ok let's go. We are late" Moon said. Kinkajou didn't change the color of her scales. She missed Qibli, Turtle and Peril. But she couldn't ask Peril and Turtle to come with them, they were going in the opposite direction. "I can ask Qibli, but would he come or not?" Kinkajou thought. They should fly over Possibility if they are going to the Ice Kingdom. Tomorrow they will be at the border of the Ice Kingdom, so today they will be at Possibility.

"We should ask Qibli to come with us. I know that you two probably don't want him to come, but he must be alone and sad. He must be a big help too." Kinkajou said. Moon looked at her and smiled. She liked the idea, but she was smart enough to let Winter answer first.

"Yes. He can come with us" Winter said. Kinkajou was surprised. She didn't even have to beg him! "If he dares" he added. Kinkajou was right, this was too much to ask Winter.

"I ship you two. Winter and Qibli!" Kinkajou said to annoy Winter. She always won with this strategy.

"WHAT?! I don't care about him!" He said. Kinkajou wasn't sure, but she thought Winter blushed.

"If you don't care, let him come with us. And be nice" Kinkajou added hurly. Winter looked at Moon. She made a "You-know-we-will-win" face and smiled, provoking him. He made a funny face and snorted.

"Ok. You won, he is my friend too. But if we didn't find him in 30 minutes we will go WITHOUT him, ok?" Winter said. Moon smiled at him, this time because she was very happy with him. "Yey! Qibli! He will be a nice company to me, but if he refuses to come with us? Will Moon be too upset? No, he is very cool and will forget about Moon." Kinkajou thought. They flew a lot without stopping, so they arrived at Possibility quite fast. Now, they have to find Qibli, and, the most important, convince him to come with them.
