Chapter 5: New information

Nathan was walking back to Pride Rock, but he saw Rafiki going into a secret cave near the Lion Guard lair. Nathan decided to follow him in. when he got into the cave, he saw many paintings about the mysterious white lion. And what he could do with his abilities.
Nathan was so amazed with what he saw that he didn't see where he was going.

Rafiki: Ugh. Nathan, what are you doing here?

Nathan: I saw you going in here, and I wondered where you were going. And what is this place?

Rafiki: Well, this is a secret place where only Royal majuzi's could enter, and I guess also the white lions.

Nathan: But why are there so many paintings about white lions?

Rafiki: Nathan, I think you need to know about the white lion's past.

Nathan: O...k

Rafiki: So Askari was the first leader of the Lion Guard. He had his team, but he also had a friend, no one knew his name, but he was a White coloured lion, and he always helped out
The Guard when a major threat came to the Pride Lands. There were many rumors of what he could do with his abilities, but no one except the white lion who uses it. Some say he could alter the weather, flash from one place to another, fly and Some say he can become invisible, but I don't know how much is true or not.

Nathan: Wow, I never knew that about me.

Rafiki: Yes, but you shouldn't try anything. You are still too inexperienced to master any of those skills.

Nathan: Well how do I get more of the abilities.

Rafiki: Well as far as I know, it just happenes when you need it or when you least expect it

Nathan: Oh

Rafiki: Just don't tell anyone about this place, and don't come here again.

Nathan: Ok Rafiki.

Nathan went out of the cave and went to the lair to get some rest.

Kion: Hey Nathan. Where were you?

Nathan: I was going around the Pride Lands to see if there was any trouble, but found nothing.

Bunga: Why did you do that? It was our day off.

Nathan: I know Bunga, I just don't feel at peace when no one is watching over the lands.

Fuli: Why do you feel that way about it ?

Kion: I know why Nathan feels like that.

Bunga: What is it Kion ?

Kion: Sorry Bunga, it's private.

Nathan: Thanks Kion.

Kion: You're welcome Nathan. Well we need to get some rest for tomorrow.

Nathan: yeah I agree. ( yawns)

Nathan and the rest of the Guard had a great sleep.

The next day while Nathan and the Guard were on patrol, Nathan heard someone behind him.

???: Nathan, Nathan!

Nathan: Huh, Oh hey Eden

Eden: Hey Nathan, how is patrol going?

Nathan: I am still busy with the patrol, but it's going well.

Eden: Well mind it i tag along?Nathan : I don't think Kion would mind, right Kion.

Kion: Sure you can tag along Eden.

Eden: Thanks.

Kion: No problem.

Eden was so happy she could tag along. Nathan was also happy that his new friend tagged along,but he was a bit uncomfortable because Eden was always on his side and constantly getting too close for comfort. Nathan thought that he shouldn't just tell her to keep her distance, because he doesn't want to lose a friend, So he just kept quiet.
