The Lion No One Knew Existed

Chapter 3: A new member

After the small battle Nathan and Kion went back to Pride Rock.

Kion: Thanks again Nathan.

Nathan: No Problem. Uh!

Kion: You ok ?

Nathan: yeah I think I just extended my healing time for my legs.

Kion: Oh, well just take it slow.

Nathan: I will.

While Kion and Nathan were walking to Pride Rock.Simba and Rafiki were talking.

Simba: Rafiki you sure that was him.

Rafiki: Yes Simba. We have found him.

Nathan walks up Pride Rock

Nathan: found who ?

Rafiki: Well we found you.

Kion: This doesn't make any sense. What is special about him ?

Nathan: Yeah the only thing I know is that I have a different fur colour.

Rafiki: Tell them Simba.

Simba: Fine. Nathan were you in a fight today ?

Nathan: Yes I was.

Simba: Were there any flashing lights ?

Nathan: Well I think I saw a type of red wave.

Simba: Nathan this means that you are one of the most special Lions in the world.Just like          Kion.

Kion: Wait, does he also have the roar ?

Rafiki: No Kion, he has some sort of red shockwave power, and more,but no one knows what       the other powers are.

Nathan: Well why me. I don't have any experience with planning or stuff like that.

Nala: Well i think it will take some time for your skills to fully develop.

Kiara: ( out of breath ) Dad, dad !

Simba: Yes Kiara.

Kiara: I saw some sort of red flash when I was tracking some animals.

Nathan: That was me.

Kiara: Well you had me terrified.

Nathan: Sorry Kiara. I didn't know that I could do that.

Simba: Well I think we should just go on with our day.

Nathan: Yeah all of this makes me stress.

Kion: Come on Nathan. I want to introduce you to someone.

Nathan: Ok let's go.

Kion and Nathan were going to the Outlands. So that Nathan could meat Jasiri.
They were going to have to go to flat ridge rock because the log broke that connected the two lands.On the way there they walked along the river where Kion fell in.

Kion : nathan this is the river I fell in after I chased Janja back to the Outlands.

Nathan: Wow. Is that where you got to the Outlands.

Kion:Yeah that patch of dirt is what saved me.

Nathan: Kion move !

Kion: What do you mean ?

Just then the side of the river crumbled and Kion fell in. He was 10 seconds
Between him and a waterfall.

Kion: Get the guard!

Nathan: there's no time

Just when Kion thought he was about to fall. He saw a flash of blue light blinding him
for a few seconds.

Kion: Ahh! What was that? And how did we get here ?

Nathan: Well I think I brought you here.

Kion: I don't know how you did it but I was sure that you just saved my life.How did you know how to get there in time and what to do.

Nathan: Well I guess my mind was just fast enough to get myself to execute the fast plan.

Kion: Well I think that you should join the guard.

Nathan: What why, I don't even know what I can do.

Kion: Well I think you could be a great help. And with your fast execution of plans you could        get us out of lots of situations.

Nathan: Well I guess so.

Kion and Nathan made it to Jasiri's den where everyone was confused.

Jasiri: Kion what are you doing here ?

Kion: Well I have come to introduce you to my new friend Nathan.

Jasiri: Hahaha. Jeah very funny Kion. I don't see him.

Kion: well, look behind you

Jasiri: there are still no one there:Ahhh

Nathan: Hey

Jasiri: why would you do that.

Nathan: I wanted to make a good impression and I thought of this.

Jasiri: Well you got me. Wait why is your fur white ?

Nathan: Well I don't really know why but all i know is that I have powers like Kion, but I don't  know how to use or control them.

Jasiri:Oh, well what's your name.

Nathan: My name is Nathan.

Jasiri: Well how did you get to be friends with Kion.

Nathan: Well it all began at my home in the Valley Lands. My pride wanted me dead for my fur  colour. But I was being hidden by my mother. Over a few years there was a fire and my                  entire family died.So I ran away from that place. When I saw Pride Rock I felt hope. I                        wanted to get a better look of the lands so I was on top of a cliff and an earthcache                        made the cliff crumble under me so I fell off. The last thing I could remember was a                        strange Lion figure standing in front of me. Now after a few days I met everyone and                      Kion and I became friends ever since.

Jasiri: Wow, That is sad your whole family is gone,just like that.

Nathan: yeah but I am over that now.

Jasiri: well it was nice meeting you Nathan.

Nathan: Same here.

Kion: Well Jasiri, Nathan is actually part of the guard now.

Jasiri: What really., but I don't see the mark of the Guard.

Kion: I know I was waiting for someone to be with to see it, to have proof.

Nathan: So how does this work ?

Kion: Don't worry Nathan.

Jasiri: yeah I think it'll be fine.

Kion: Nathan you are the Sharpest.

Nathan: Wow, I can't believe it. What does the Sharpest do ?

Kion: Well you are good at taking charge, you are a skilled fighter, fast to react in any situation    and you still have some stuff you didn't discover yet.

Nathan: Wow. Well I am honored.

Kion: Well, it's getting late. We should probably go now.

Jasiri: Ok bye Kion. Bye Nathan.

Kion and Nathan were heading back to Pride Rock. Nathan is still overwhelmed that he became a member of the Guard.He never thought that he would be a part of anything in his first week of being in the Pride Lands.
