Nathan and Keia walked away from Pride Rock after Eden almost killed Keia.
Nathan showed Keia around the Pride Lands and they took a short break at the waterhole.
Nathan: We can take a break here, if you'd like?
Keia: Yes my paws are hurting a little. The Pride Lands is huge.
Nathan: Yeah it is. It took me a while to get used to this place.
Keia: Yeah I see why. And all the animals are so friendly here.
Nathan: Yeah they are. All the animals here respect the circle of life. Well at least everyone who lives here.
Keia: What do you mean?
Nathan: Outside the Pride Lands, there is a place called the Outlands, and there live animals that have no respect for the circle of life. But there are some hyenas that respect it.
Keia: What animals live in the Outlands?
Nathan: Hyenas, jackals and some lions that aren't there anymore.
Keia: What happened to the lions?
Nathan: Kion roared all of them far away from the Pride Lands, so you don't have to worry about them. And if I may ask how did you get here?
Keia:I was a happy cub with 2 brothers. 1 older and 1 younger. It was peaceful there for a few years. But one night my mom came to me and said that I need to run away from the pride. I didn't know why, but when I ran out I saw a whole pride of lions starting to attack my pride. I just kept on running with tears coming out of my eyes, because I realised that my pride was all dead and I didn't have a home anymore. A few weeks later I found this place and now I feel happy again.
Nathan: Wow, I didn't know you also had your pride killed.
Keia: Yeah that's something we both have in common.
Nathan: So what here made you feel happy again.
Keia: The animals that are so nice, Being accepted into a pride, and having good friends like you. blushing
Nathan: Are you blushing?
Keia: What no I'm not blushing.
Nathan: Ok, so you want to continue with the tour?
Keia: Sure.
After a few hours the sun was beginning to set and the guard was wondering why Nathan isn't back yet.
Bunga: Where is Nathan, he should know that he should be back by sunset.
Kion: I'm sure he's fine, Bunga. The tour must have taken longer then we thought.
Banga: Well I'm going to go look for him. You coming Kion?
Kion: Yeah I'll come.
Kion and Bunga went out to search for Nathan. They saw him on top of a cliff looking over the lands with Keia.
Keia: Wow the sunset is so beautiful.
Nathan: Yeah it is.
Keia: Thanks for taking me on a tour, and for saving my life. I really appreciate it.
Nathan: You're welcome Keia.
Keia: Want to know something ?
Nathan: Sure.
Keia: Come closer.
Nathan came closer because he thought that she wanted to whisper something to him. But Keia came even closer and licked Nathan on his nuzzle. Nathan was shocked by this and
he was very confused.
Nathan: Keia, Why did you do that?
Keia: Nathan, I know this sounds weird but, I really like you.
Nathan: Well I...
Bunga: Hey! Nathan! Why are you up there?!
Nathan: I umm, I got to go. I'll see you tomorrow Keia, bye.
Keia: Oh, bye Nathan.
Nathan ran to Kion and Bunga wondering what's going on.
Nathan: Hey guys. What's up?
Kion: We wondered where you were for that long?
Nathan: I was showing Keia around the Pride lands.
Bunga: Do you mean your girlfriend?
Nathan: What, no. I don't have a girlfriend.
Bunga: Well I saw what she did to you, so it looked like you're a couple.
Nathan: She came here yesterday. How could we be a couple? I don't even know that much stuff about her.
Bunga: Ok, take it easy there buddy.
Kion: let's get back to the lair.
Nathan: yeah let's go.
Nathan, Kion and Bunga walked back to the lair. But still on the cliff, Keia was still sitting there.
Keia: I hope I didn't push him away. I really like him. I hope he feels the same way about me.
Nathan, Kion and Bunga went back to the lair. When they got there, Kion and Bunga fell asleep, but Nathan was still awake.
Nathan: whispering I wonder why she did that. Does she have a crush on me or something? I think I was just imagining it. I need some rest.
