Chapter 6: An Unexpected Visit

Nathan, Eden and the rest of the Guard went on their patrol. Nathan didn't feel as good as he normally did so he wasn't paying much attention to the stuff around him. A few hours had passed and nothing was out of the ordinary, Until they heard an animal in the distance.

???: Hey you there! White lion!

Nathan: What do you want ?

???: I didn't come this far to get that attitude.

Nathan: Ok. Who are you and what do you want?

???: I am Korso, and I came here to find you.

Nathan: I'm Nathan, and why did you come here to find me?

Korso: When I saw the flashes of light I knew you had returned.

Nathan: Ok, I don't know what you're talking about.

Korso: Every time there is a flash of light something gains new power and that something is you.

Nathan: Listen Korso, I think you've been told too many tales in your life.

Korso: No I know it's true. One of my friends told me they saw you do some incredible stuff.

Nathan: Well that is true, but why are you interested in me?

Kion: Hey what's going on here.

Korso: I am Korso and I advise you to stay away from him.

Kion: Why should I do that?

Korso: He can't control himself and he can strike at any moment.

Nathan: Yeah Korso, you are out of your mind.

Korso: Nathan come here.

Nathan: Ok.

Korso: (whispers) Meet me here at sunset.

Nathan: Ok, I will.

Fuli: what was that about?

Nathan: I don't know. He wants me to meet him here at sunset.

Kion: Do you know why?

Nathan: No, but I think you Fuli and Ono should come with and hide. Just incase it's a planned attack.

Kion: Ok we got your back Nathan.

Nathan: Thanks Kion. And by the way, where is Eden?

Fuli: She got tired, So she went home.

Nathan: Oh ok.

A few hours past and Nathan, Kion, Fuli and Ono went to the place Korso said he and Nathan should be.

Nathan: Ok you three stay here and watch from far. Just make sure if something to jump in when something happens.

Kion: Ok Nathan.

Fuli: Got it.

Ono: Affirmative.

Nathan walked down and saw Korso waiting for him.

Korso: Well you showed up.

Nathan: Yes I did.

Korso: So do you know about the Flaming paw?

Nathan: What's that?

Korso: Well it's a strike where you can make someone fall down and lose all mobility for a while.

Nathan: Wait was that what I used when that red flash appeared?

Korso: Yes, but you need to make sure you don't make a flash. The flash and light it emits is the power getting wasted and not used in the strike. So you should learn to control the flash. When you need to blind the enemy or paralyze them.

Nathan: So how do I do that ?

Korso: Well make sure you are calm, and have full control of what you're doing. Now go to that rock.

Nathan: Ok.

Korso: Now focus on what you want to do. Feel the energy in your body circulating. Move the energy to the one attack you want to execute. Now attack it.

When Nathan saw what happened he saw the rock shatter in millions of pieces and he was amazed.

Nathan: Wow, I didn't know I could control the flash of light.

Korso: Well Let's keep this our little secret.
