Chapter 3

'Or What?'

He stops talking for a second and looks at me as his eyes weren't clouded and neither was mine. He picked me up throwing me over his shoulder.

"Knox!" I yell as he starts walking back to the packhouse, "Oh my Goddess, put me down," I punch his back repeatedly

A hand lands on my bum and sparks shoot throughout my body. I punch his back harder but not too hard before looking up at the warriors who were getting farther away.

"Some help you guys are!" I yelled at them making them laugh

Dylan was walking near us with a worried expression on his face.

"So you are going to explain to me what's going on," Knox says

"Like hell," I say and he smacks my bum again

We enter the packhouse and everyone laughs as Knox carries me in. We go to Knox's office and sit down.

"So, what do you have against my beta?" Knox asks

"Nothing," I say, "I have nothing against him,"

"What secret are you keeping from me then?" he changes

"Well I can't tell you if it's a secret," I reply

Knox stands up as do I and he steps towards me in which I take a step back until we were against a wall. His hand wraps around my throat, but not in a painful way or to make it so I can't breathe but more in a seductive way.

"Or I could mark that pretty little neck of yours and read your thoughts," he whispers to me and I shake my head, "Then tell me, Iris,"

I glance at Dylan who slowly nods, "I've kind of had a...thing with him since last year,"

Knox's hands were off of my neck immediately, "Dating anyone but your mate is against the rules,"

"We weren't dating," I say slowly

"Tell me Iris, who else?" he asks

"That's the problem. No one else," I say

He comes up close to fanning my face with his hot breath, "So you're telling me, he took your virginity," he says huskily, I slowly nod, "I ask a question for it to be responded, Iris,"

"Yes,"

"Your position is revoked and you are out of the pack," Knox says moving away from me. His eyes were now glowing a blue color telling me Antonio was taking over

"What? Kno-" he cuts me off with a stern look, his glowing blue eyes looking into my eyes. I shut up and lean against the wall, "I'm sorry," I tell Dylan

"It'll be okay," he nods before taking his beta pin off and leaving

Knox comes over to me sniffing my neck to calm himself down as I lean against the wall. His hands easily find their way to my hips as his nose is nuzzled into my neck. I felt him open his mouth and his teeth graze my skin but I put my hand on his chest and he immediately stopped making Maya whine and whimper.

'shut up' I tell her

'Let me take control' she begs 

'whatever'

I felt us switch places and I was now a spectator in the back of my head. My eyes glow purple as I look into Knox's eyes.

"She doesn't actually dislike you, she just thinks having a mate makes her weaker," Maya says referring to me, "She actually swoons over your looks sometimes,"

'Okay, that's enough switch back'

Maya laughs before switching back with me.

"She's lying," I say as soon as I'm back
