Chapter 5

I leave the adoption center with Knox who has a cocky smile on his face, "I didn't know you could sing," he says

"I enjoy singing," I reply stuffing my hands into my pockets

"And kids?" he asks

"Don't get any ideas," we laugh

We walk by the training grounds where Kai, Knox's new beta was training the boys around my age. I watched as he taught them the most predictable thing they could possibly do.

"You're training them terribly!" I yell gaining their attention. I give them a toothy grin waving at them, "That technique is way too predictable," I walk over to them, "If you're fighting someone you would want to keep your eyes on their stance, which will tell you which leg they will use to push themselves off going into the opposite direction," I explain to them

"She told you," A guy says to Kai

I chuckle lightly, "Can you help us then, Luna?" Kai asks

I turn to Knox and smile at him trying to work my charm, "Go ahead, but you need to change," 

I look down at my jeans and tank top, "Okay, I'll be back," I say to the guys before grabbing Knox's hand following him to the packhouse.

Maya was going absolutely nuts in my head and I accidentally let out a small purr which Knox turned to look at me

"That was Maya, she was going crazy over... that," I point at our hands trying to take his attention off my rosy cheeks

He lets out a soft chuckle pulling me against him, "You can't do that," he says huskily

"And if I do," I challenge him raising an eyebrow, he just shakes his head and I decide to toy with him. I let out a soft long purr and bite my lip.

His eyes slightly darken before he pulls me even closer to him, "If you don't want me to take you inside and to my room, right now. I suggest you stop," he whispers to me and I slowly nod

He lets me go and we walk back to the packhouse hand in hand in a peaceful silence. he comes with me towards my room and I say hi to Kevin. He comes into my room and I turn to him confused.

"You just following me every-damn-where," I laugh before slipping my jeans off and slipping on a pair of leggings

I throw my hair into a high ponytail before grabbing a shirt and shorts just in case I need to change. Knox puts the clothes into a bag for me before following me out. I leave him running to the training grounds.

I wanted to change into my bat since I haven't in a bit. My bat was a small cute white bat. It is very rare to be a white bat but that is exactly what I was.

I met the guys over and smiled as I stood in front of them, "You didn't need to run,"

"I didn't vampire speed away from you so be grateful," I reply, "Okay, so when you're attacking someone, you would want to be unpredictable," I tell them before stepping forward

"I never make the first move because my opponent looks down on me as if I cannot beat them, which leads us to rule number 1, "Never, ever underestimate your opponent," they all nodded not saying anything, "Who was the guy that I fought before I left?" I ask

The buff guy that I fought last came out, "Line up," I say

He stands in front of me before we get into a stance. He pushes from the same left foot and I move to the left again elbowing his back making him fall to the ground before helping him back up.

"All of you push off on the same foot every time. I would put myself on my left making my opponent think I would go right but change last second and go left giving a blow onto their left jaw and a punch to the side. With enough force, they would most likely fall to the floor," I explain and they all nod, "Pair up and let me see you try, Kai, with me," I say and everyone pairs up

I demonstrate what I said on Kai before I allow him to do it back to me before everyone else does the same.

Knox tells us when the training is over before, Kai, Knox, and I walk back to the packhouse. I run up the stairs to my room and shower.

'Come down for lunch' Knox mindlinks me

I put on a pair of shorts and a huge shirt before skipping down the stairs. I ate with Knox and Kai while talking about some training and other things before I went back upstairs to the library in my room and Knox and Kai go to handle some paperwork.

I read on my magic and other things before putting the book away and opening the door walking into my room.

"I didn't know that was there," Knox says from behind me making me jump

I say the spell before turning back to him, "Hii," I say innocently looking at him sitting on my bed.

"What's in there?" he asks

"It's a witch library. There are other passageways in the house leading there but only witches can get in," I explain

He lays down in my bed getting under the blanket making me raise my eyebrow in his direction but he winks before closing his eyes. I roll my eyes changing my clothes until I feel his eyes on me.

"You should stop staring at me, it's an invasion of privacy," I tell him as I slip my bra off and a shirt over it

"You're changing in front of me," he replies as I turn around

"You invaded my room,"

"You're in my house," he says

I roll my eyes with a small smile before lying in the bed beside him. His hand snakes around my waist pulling my back against his front before slowly drifting to sleep.
