My Pack Calls Me Iris, But His Calls Me Luna [ON HOLD]

Chapter 6

I wake up feeling a soft pillow on my cheeks and snuggle into it.

"Having fun with my chest?" I hear

I jump falling off of the bed and hitting my butt on the ground hard, "Ouch!" I whine lying on the floor

"You okay?" Knox asks looking over my side of the bed holding out his hand.

I take his hand getting back. into the bed, "Tired and my butt hurts but, yeah I'm fine," I say closing my eyes and snuggling back up to him

He chuckles wrapping his arm around me as I stuffed my face in his chest with my arms around his waist.

"What are you doing today?" Knox asks

"I'm going back to the adoption center and then I'm going to find a group training to correct," I reply

"Are we ever going to talk about you actually becoming Luna?" He asks making my eyes shoot open

"No, no, no, no," I say quickly getting up, "That's not a good idea and I can't help you looking over the pack, I'll probably make it even worse," I ramble

Knox is soon standing in front of me with his hands on my shoulders, "You would be a great Luna, the kids already like you and so do the warriors, you just need to meet a few girls," he says

"Girls aren't my strong point," I say, "I was only friends with Simone, my maid and Jessica, my best friend," I explain

"Doesn't matter, we're doing this together," he says

"I need time," I say slowly

"Take all the time in the world," he kisses my forehead sending sparks to my body, kind of waking me up more and I nod.

"You should let Dylan back in the pack," I say and his jaw clenches, "He was a good fighter and he won't last long as a rogue. They could rip him apart, and I thought you guys were friends," I say poling his bare chest and looking at his 8 pack

"We were friends until I figured out he took my mate's virginity," he says, "And why do you sound so worried?"

"Because I am," I say

Knox's Jaw clenches before he turns to leave, "Knox, he's my friend, I would be heartless if I wasn't worried and I bet you are too,"

"Your friend that you fuck," he says before leaving

I groan loudly before going to the bathroom to shower. I brush my teeth and pick out an outfit.

My shirt was red and tight at the top before slightly flowing out at the ends and I put on a pair of plain denim jeans and combat boots before combing my hair and throwing it into a high ponytail.

I leave my room and say hi to Kevin before skipping downstairs and eating some breakfast. I went out of the door going to the adoption center and entering. I say hi to Mona, who owns the adoption center and is Kevin's mate. I open the glass door and the kids all come wrapping their arms around me and I smile. I make a snow cloud for them and they all play in the snow.

I go over to the boy sitting in the corner, "Hi, I'm Iris," I kneel in front of him

"Why are you talking to me?" he seems confused

"I don't judge someone until I know them hun," I tell the child

"But the other kids says I'm a freak,"

"Why?"

"Because I a wolf and a vampire," he explains

"Want to hear a secret?" I ask and he nods quickly, "I'm a werewolf, vampire and a witch," I tell him

He gasps, "So cool, so you be friend with me?" he asks shyly

"I would love to be your friend," I tap his nose

He smiles before giggling, and I hear a gasp behind me making me turn, "You got Noah to talk?!" Mona asks in confusion

"Yeah, he's a good kid," I rub his hair before I stand up

"Iris be my friend," Noah tells her with a wide grin

"Noah, you call her Luna," she scolds making Noah frown

"No, I introduced myself as Iris and I'm not Luna yet," I say before checking the time, "I have a training class to teach," I say

Mona nods and I say bye to the kids telling them I'll sing to them at bedtime tonight if I can. I leave the adoption center. I had a bag on my bag that had clothes in it for me to change into. I use my vampire to quickly change by a tree before putting my clothes into the bag and going to the training grounds where Kai had started training.

I came in, "I just love invading your classes and correcting everything wrong," I smile sitting down watching as he teaches them stances, glancing at me after he says everything. 

"Going to join me for a fight?" Kai asks

"Love to," I say standing up

He goes first and we fight until I start feeling something weird in my stomach before it started slightly hurting, "Stop," I say to Kai weakly

I fall to my knees in pain clutching my stomach.

He was cheating on me. 

I was in pain for about 15 minutes until it was gone and the warriors had all crowded around me making sure I was okay. I remove my hand from my stomach showing the bruises on my stomach, everyone gasps as they know what's going on.

"Goddess," I mutter putting my head in my hands

"Hey," Kai puts a hand on my back but I shake my head.

The first tear in about 10 years fell from my eye. I turned into my bat before flying away. I sat on a tree in the woods. I cried in my bad form for God knows how long until I heard a twig break. I look down seeing Knox and Kai walk into the woods.

"I can smell you, Iris," Knox says

"You think I give a fuck?" I ask from the tree, I was in my regular form now and I had changed into the clothes in my bag which was resting at the bottom of the tree.

"I'm sorry," he says

I jump down from the tree. If anyone else jumped from where I was they probably would've broken their legs, but this was me and it didn't even hurt.

"I don't care," I say emotionless, "Is this about earlier? Because I didn't cheat on you. I didn't know who you were and I didn't care."

"I made a mistake," he says

"What was Antonio saying when you did it?" I asked him

"He was whining, and almost crying,"

"Really? Because Maya is in the back of my head and won't say a word because she is broken. You won't let me reject you and neither will she. She is in the bag of my head howling and crying because it fucking hurt," I push Knox

"Please, Iris," he says

"Leave me alone, I don't want to talk to you," I say before taking off my clothes and shifting into a bat, running away back to the packhouse. I swiftly changed and put my clothes back on before going up to my room. I ignored Kevin and slammed the door collapsing on my bed turning into a ball of tears until I just fell asleep.
