Death By Mom

"Sweetheart? Is that you?!" my mother yells. I freeze in my tracks.

"Um... no." I deepen my voice, "This is Bob." I run to my room and slam the door.

"Sophia Grace open up! You can't run from me forever!" mom shouts through the door. Really mom? You're using that to try to get me to open the door.

"Mom, Connor says he loves me! You can't keep me from seeing him!" I blurt out. Even though my mother can't see me I still cover my mouth. Did I really just say that? What is wrong with me?!

My mom doesn't reply. Did she die or something? I reluctantly open the door feeling a bit scared of what may be on the other side. I see my mother just standing there staring at the floor looking troubled.

   "Um mom? I..."

"Can I please talk to you?" she interrupts.

"Uh... yeah sure... I guess," I say taken by surprise. We both go and sit on my bed. I think I've been sentenced to death by mom.

"You know I love you right?" she asks. Oh this sounds bad.

   

    "Um yeah..."

     "Okay then you will perfectly understand why when I say that you are not allowed to be out with that boy Cameron."

     "Mom it's Connor not Cameron!" I yell. My mom is so clueless about everything apparently.

     "I don't care about what his name is! You are not allowed to be with him," she retorts.

     "Why not?" I question feeling a little offended that she didn't care to know his name.

     "You know he doesn't care about you..."

     "What?!" I interrupt. "Mom you haven't even met him!"

      "I've heard enough to know that he is just some guy who is going to take you for granted," her voice gets very stern.

     "He said he loves me," I mumble. She doesn't understand me or Connor at all. She's just plain ignorant.

     "Just because he said it does not mean he meant it." My mother stands up and walks out of my room.

     "If she thinks she is keeping me away from him, she is wrong," I mutter. In fact I think I'll just visit him right now. I pick up my phone and shoot him a text asking what hotel he is in. This should be interesting.

     Sorry that I haven't updated in FOREVER. :( So sorry I just haven't been on wattpad in a while so I'm going to try to update more frequently. Oh and also I apologize for the length of this chapter its quite short as are the other ones... Yeah... So um bye. Thanks for reading! :)
