Chapter 10 Part 1

Like I promised, I updated when I got at least 30 views every chapter. Omg, I had just posted the authors note today! Thank you guys so much! we actually passed what I thought we would get! Also, I am still making the really long chapter and didn't have enough time to finish the whole thing today, but had to post something. Be prepared for part 2 soon! In this chapter, hearts will be broken, many people will die, secrets will be revealed, and you might be hit with surprises.

Also, thank you for 450 views on my book! Many people even added it to their list! Anyways, I spent a really long time on this chapter and started the day I sent out the authors note. I hope you like it!

Maddie's POV:
Though I have experienced pain before, this was unbearable. The wolf had bit into me like a vampire would, and had put some of his venom into me. It stung like crazy, and I used the last of my energy to suck it out and spit it into a trashcan.

I literally felt dead, and everyone had already checked in on me. I barely remembered anything though. The wolf sucked out my memory from the last hour, and I had forgot who Trevor was until he came in and touched me.

His touch was enough to help me stay alive, it being so electric to me, yet so caring and tender. I remembered how much I loved him, and how much he loved me.

After a couple more minutes, the man I haven't seen in forever walked in.

"Aaron," I breathed.

Tears fell out of my eyes, and I looked up at him. If only he had stayed.

Arron walked towards me.

"I'm so sorry Maddie," he whispered. "I left because when Mum and Dad died, I knew you would want revenge."

"S-so y-you left me so you could get revenge on the werewolves?" I ask, stuttering.

"Maddie, I... Yes, yes I did."

I hug him tightly, and he gives me a bottle of water from near the door.

"Um... Arron?"

"Yes Maddie?"

"Vampires don't need umm... Water..."

"It might help you clear your head."

"I- okay why not."

I drank it all in one swallow, and my eyes opened wider, stinging, and burning. The hurt from my throat and head moved down to the rest of my body, spreading everywhere. I closed my eyes, and my heart fell like it would burst open.

I heard Arron talk to me in the ear.

"Mum and dad died because of you! They both died to save you, and you should have saved them! You do know that one person is less important than two right? Mum and Dad taught us sacrifice. You didn't even try to save them when they were in danger! Life was perfect before you were born! Why did they have to have you as a child! I may be your brother, but that doesn't mean I have to be there every step of the way with you.

I didn't leave to get revenge on the werewolves for you! I left so I didn't have to freaking see you anymore! I led the wolves to you so they would kill you, but whoever that guy was protected you. Now I only have one choice. To kill you myself. Now that you are vulnerable and nearly dead, I find that quite easy now. Don't you?" He says this all to me at once, throwing all of the nasty comments to my- now almost dead body and heart.

I then feel it before I know what's happening. A knife stabbing me directly in the middle of my heart.

Darkness pulls me under.
