Trevor's POV:
I put my arm around Maddie's waist as we walked into Mc Donald's."When we graduate, I guess we can both go on with our werewolf killing?"
I ask."Yup," she replied.
"You don't sound so sure."
"Well I'm a hell of a thinker, so if I'm sure now, I'm probably sure."
I laughed. "That's what I mean. You always think so much, and I don't think you have made up your mind yet."
"Trust me," she said laughing. "I can take a long time to think, but I know this time."
"You thought this over, didn't you."
"You are sure right that I did!"
We walked up to the line, and ordered our food.
"I'll get a cheeseburger combo with a diet coke," Maddie said to the McDonalds worker.
He started checking her out, as if he was trying to get her to flirt with him.
"I would like a quarter pounder with medium fries," I said, interrupting him from his trance.
"O-of c-course," he stammered, still eying Maddie.
I handed him twenty dollars. "Keep the change."
Putting my arm around Maddie, I walk her over to the pick-up counter. We wait, and she looks up into my eyes. I kiss her forehead, and then our number is called.
"27!" A woman's voice screeches, shrill and bored.
I walk up to the counter, and the girls eyes widen. "H-here's your f-food."
"Thank you."
"N-no problem. W-will I s-see you a-again?" She says, twirling a hair around her finger.
"No," I answer.
Walking away, I hold the tray in one hand and Maddie's hand in the other. Squeezing her hand slightly, I place our tray on the table. And sit across from her. She digs into her food.
"You can eat like a guy Maddie, but guys are still checking you out," I say.
"Well, maybe guys don't like perfect girls."
"You are perfect."
"Thank you?"
"Why is it a question?"
"Is it bad to be perfect?"
"Nope," I say, popping the p.
"Okay then. Thank you."
I pick up my burger. "You are pretty much done with your burger," I say,"I didn't even start yet."
Maddie shrugs, and dips a fry in the ketchup, popping it into her mouth.
"Wow," I say. "Okay then."
I take a handful of her fries and shove them into my mouth.
"Hey!" She says. "Get your own!"
"You're too fat anyways."
"No I'm not!"
"I was kidding Maddie!"
