Maddie's POV:
I woke up with the light shining into my room. Way to bright. I went to the bathroom, and looked at myself. I looked beautiful, and didn't have bed head like they do in the movies or books.

Sighing, I felt the energy come through me, and a green swirling dust flowed between my two hands. Swirling it around me, my clothes had changed and I wore white skinny jeans, mint green converse high tops, and a black crop top that said 'I woke up this way'. Modern clothes were so different now a days. Instead of a skirt or dress, we wore something that was illegal in the 1900s. Pants.

Soon, I became hungry and Brandon and Trevor were still asleep.

I needed to look around the house to see the kitchen, and decided to use x-Ray vision. I found that it was almost the exact same layout as my old home, just a lot bigger.

Walking out of my room, I went downstairs and thought of what to make for breakfast. I decided to make eggs and toast, and my hands shot out quickly, a red sparking dust coming out. The food appeared onto the tables, and then I hear a "wow" from behind me.

Turning around in surprise, I find an amazed Brandon lazily leaning against the door frame.

"Well good morning to you too," I reply. "Geez, you almost scared me."

"Almost?" Brandon replies, raising an eyebrow.

"Nope, you didn't quite scare me Brandon."

"Yet."

"What?"

"I will scare you, eventually."

"Sure you will," I reply sarcastically.

"You bet I will!"

I laugh. "Let's eat breakfast before it gets cold."

Sitting down, I start to eat.

"It looks like you found your true love Brandon," I say laughing.

"This is so good! I usually hate scrambled eggs."

"Speaking about good food, I really need to go hunting. I haven't gone in forever."

"True," Brandon said. "Trevor and I haven't had blood in a while either. Maybe you two can talk about mating," he said, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively.

"Maybe," I murmur.

Mating isn't something I ever thought of. I always knew I eventually would, but by now, age 623 sounds like a good age. I started playing games on my phone without a second thought, and Trevor came barging into the kitchen.

"Why didn't you wake me up?" He roared.

"And why are you so mad?" Brandon murmured.

"I can freaking hear you!" Trevor yelled.

Closing my eyes, I opened my doors in my head, which allowed the thoughts of the people around me to come into me. Reading Trevor's, I found that he was jealous that Brandon and I were in a room alone. He believed Brandon could have been flirting or something with me.

"Trevor," I whispered, "we just woke up, and I made everyone breakfast."

"Take a seat Trevor," Brandon said, looking scared.

Searching now in Brandon's mind, I found that Trevor was the most violent vampires known. Too bad they didn't know how violent I was, with or without my powers.
