'He..'

I get interrupted by something that seems like a brick crashing down next to me on the bed.

'Long day?' 'It's three at night!'
'I know,' I remove his shirt and move my hand up and down his bare back, 'Take a shower and go to bed.'
'I don't want to shower.'
'I don't want to sound rude or anything but.. you smell, so take a shower because you won't have time for it tomorrow,' I state.
'Why not?'
'You forgot,' I lower my voice in disbelief, 'you actually forgot?'

He turns to his side and forces me to move my head so he can look me in the eyes.

'It's been so hectic lately, I didn't expect that leading a city could be this hard.' 'What the hell did you expect!'

His hand strokes my cheek.

'Darling.. did I forget something important?' 'Clearly not,' I mutter.
'Calum..' 'Forget it, take a shower.'
'Not when you're mad at me.'
'Get your ass in the shower and don't bother waking me up tomorrow morning!' I snap at him.

I turn around so my back is facing him. He touches my shoulder, but I simply push him away again.

'Love..' 'Quit it!' 'Dammit Calum.'

He roughly pulls me on my back and pins me down with his hands.

'Tell me why you're upset,' he demands.
'Acting like this isn't going to help you.' That's all I answer.
'Calum fucking Parker, tell me what's wrong.' 'You're not scaring me.'
'Do I have to?' He responds.
'Levi feckin' Parker drop it.'

I close my eyes in an attempt to let him believe I'm sleeping.

'Once you're asleep you will forget you're angry with me and cling to me like a sloth.' 'Fuck it,' I push the guy of me which is harder than I imagined and get out of bed, 'I'll take the couch.'
'Calum come on,' he takes a hold of my lower arm, 'Don't be this difficult.'
'Difficult? Go fuck yourself!'

I yank my arm away take a blanket and start leaving the room.

'Calum please.. just tell me what I forgot.' 'Goodnight.'

I close the door with a loud bang and take a few minutes to redeem myself.

'At least take the guestroom!'
'Did you seriously forgot your brother is staying over?!' I yell back. 'Right..'
'Are you alright?'

I turn to meet our "guest" standing behind me.

'He forgot our wedding day and I wasn't even physically there,' I whisper. 'Really?' 'He doesn't pay attention to anything anymore.'
'Oh..' 'It's alright Ash, just go back to bed, I'm fine.' 'If you say so.'

I walk away, take the stairs and crash on the sofa. Why is this thing so uncomfortable to sleep on?

'Darling, come back to bed.'
'You don't understand that I want to be left alone do you?' 'Cup of tea?'
'What kind of answer is that?'

He sits down on the armrest and places his hand on the top of my head.

'The I know you're not going to be sleeping tonight because of this and I'm trying to bribe you with tea to come back kind of answer.'

'You forgot our wedding day,' I finally admit.
'Really? Has it been a year already? Time goes fast.'

I try to slap him in the face but he manages to capture my wrist far before I can reach him.

'You really need to try a different approach, everyone can see it coming.' 'Don't act so chill about it!'
'You're not planning on celebrating it each year right?'

I groan, pull the blanket over my head and ignore his stupid question.

It had been a year.. I wish we could've celebrate it since I was sick when we married and I thought he had listened when I told him.. guess not.

'Mister Parker..'
'Levi stop using our last name!'
'You're a bit moody today aren't you?'
'It's the middle of the night!'

I feel how the surface underneath me disappears and arms carry me upstairs.

'The bed is big enough for you to ignore me in.'

I get placed down on the bed still wrapped inside the blanket.

'You do look adorable.' 'Shut it.'
'You mean stop making me blush?'
'Shut it I'm mad at you!' I reply.
'I know something better to use that anger out on.'

The playful smirk makes me try to hit him again only resolving in my wrist pinned tightly on the mattress.

'Stop trying to go for my face, you're tiny. Use that fact to your advantage and try to hit something else.'

I reach for his stomach, but it's no use.. he has my other wrist pinned to the bed in no time.

'I've seen you train, you're better than this.' 'Shut it and just let me sleep.'
'Alright.'

He moves on top of me and closes his eyes.

'Goodnight.' 'Levi!' I groan.
'Goodnight,' he repeats not moving an inch.

I sigh and let my guard down by wrapping my arm around his torso.
He wears an approving smile and gives me some more space to breath.

'Look Calum.. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have forgot and I understand that you're upset, but..' 'You ignore everything lately,' I mumble.
'Had you planned something?' 'No.'
'Good, I'll take you out for dinner and a late night walk.. if that's fine with you?' 'Sure.'

He strokes the side of my head and tucks some hair behind my ear.

'I'm sorry Calum, I wasn't supposed to upset you.'
