Third person pov

Tense.

Tense was the only word fitting into the whole situation.

Our favourite couple just walked into the room with a lawyer and around four guards following them. They stood on one side of the room while Calum's father, lawyers, guards and a woman stood on the other side.

Calum felt like he would puke on the spot, so bad did the presence of this much people make him feel. Yet he knew he needed to keep strong, strong for the one he loved.
Speaking of that person..

Levi's hands wrapped around the shorter figure, pulling him into an embrace.

The two of them hadn't been together for long, but when one of them didn't feel comfortable.. they knew it and they felt it.
They learned it while doing rather sinful things in the bedroom, they had to trust eachother.. trusting them to know each others limits and most importantly know when the other wasn't comfortable.

But assuming the two of them weren't alone or naked.. there must be something else going on and this something else was the woman on the other side.

Pulling himself even closer to his husband Calum hides his face away from everyone inside the chest of the taller guy. He didn't care how unprofessional this looked, all he needed now was to be saved.

'You.. you didn't tell me she would be here,' he whispered, but the room was so quiet everyone heard him.
'Calum hey.. hey,' the taller man runs his hands up and down the now sobbing guy's back, 'I didn't know.'

Even though Levi didn't even know who this woman was and why it made his boy this upset, he just knew it didn't feel right. There were two women in Calum's life he could think of, his therapist and his mother.

She was tall, had a dark skin complexion, long slightly wavey black hair and these blue eyes which looked so familiar to him.

'Holy shit,' Levi murmured when he saw all these features back in the boy who was holding onto him tightly.

Thinking about it.. Calum didn't even look like his dad, he had his nose and that's it. If this woman is his mother, like he presumed, it would explain the slightly tinned skin and the waves his hair got when it grew.. there was no doubt.

'Why would you bring his mother into this meeting?' He questioned quietly, still trying to process the weird reunion.

The tiny boy questioned the same thing as he finally lifted his head from the safety of his chest. Their eyes met as Calum nodded to let the other one know he was okay.

Yet his world was spinning and black spot danced around teasingly.

'You aren't okay Calum, don't lie.'
'Hold on to me please ju..,' he begged but got interrupted by the sound of a voice speaking.
'This isn't like you son, you're not the type for this, stop whining.'

If it wasn't for Calum stopping him Levi sure would have beaten the man until his body couldn't take it anymore.

Scott, the father, on the other hand smirked. He needed him to break and let the lawyers see that this man was abusive and he could have his son back. One little out burst and the whole arrangement would be broken.

All that the mother thought about the situation is why she agreed to come as cuss words filled her mind she started to become enraged about her presence here, she wasn't wanted, she was only being used.

'Scott I'm out, I won't let you use me.. not again,' she spoke without even noticing it.

But when she went to the other side of the room to reach for the door.. a trembling hand stopped her.

'Wait.'

Her eyes met the ones that resembled hers. She hadn't seen him as a teen.. let alone an adult. Yet it was like looking at a male version of herself with slightly lighter skin.

'Why did you abandon me? What did I do wrong? I saved your life I..'

The boy found himself stumbling over all the questions he needed to ask, he desired to know.

The boy who had his arm around Calum's waist knew this look in her eyes all to well, something was.. off.

'Calum I can't face you.'

She made her way to the door, but got stopped once again.

'Walk out and I'll make sure you end up in jail.'

Something was off and now the smaller guy noticed it too.

'You're welcome in my city, you won't go to jail there for crimes I don't know about,' Levi spoke saving the woman from the situation she got herself into.

Calum on the other hand wasn't too fond of the idea as memories from his past came back.

'Hold up, I want answers.'
'I was forced to stay out of your life,' she stated and walked out of the room leaving the poor boy confused.

His father on the other hand was boiling.

'Get her, get her before she escapes!'

He knew that if this woman ran, she could ruin everything, everything he had build up.

'I'm sorry sir but I'm in charge here and you're not allowed to order that.'

This pushed the already boiling man over the edge and soon he made his way over to the leader.

'Listen closely you little bitch.'

Levi was scared, there was no denying that, but he couldn't show it.

By simply snapping his fingers he got separated from the mad man and pushed back to his own side of the room.

'The terms,' he started pulling the small boy onto his lap to keep him safe, 'we're here for the terms so let's get to it.'
