I groan when the sunlight hits my skin, making me wake up from the light.. did we forgot to put the cover over the skylight?
'Good morning.'
I groan again and flip myself around rather aggressively.
'Calum.' 'What?'
I open my eyes and turn to look at my husband. Just now I notice he's only wearing his boxers. My eyes trail of to find myself in the same situation.
'Did we?' 'Hm? Oh.. no we didn't don't worry,' he replies, 'You had a nightmare and you were all sweaty so I changed you out of your clothes and I was going to change.'
'You're going to be alright with that shoulder of yours?' I ask.
'I'm going to wear a blouse.. with buttons.' 'Smart,' I mumble turning over to cover myself with the sheets.'No Cal wake up, I want you to come to work with me.'
I find myself hiding underneath the sheets even more.
'Love, are you trying to become a ghost?' 'This.. is not.. the time.. for fucking death or ghost jokes!'
'I'm not going to die Calum.'I push the sheets away from me again looking at the male who struggled putting his clothes on with one arm.
I shake my head and get out of my bed to help him get his arm through the sleeve.
'Who says?' I whisper.
'Darling, those guys from before are all in jail and we dubbeled the security around both of us.'
'Why? They're not after me?'
'Uhm excuse you? The gun was pointed on you two fucking times.
I'm so happy I noticed, what if you got hurt after everything we've been through?'I groaned as I helped him get fully dressed.
'And the tie to tie it all together,' I joke while putting it on him, 'There's the formal hotty.'
'Calum what are you even saying?' He replies with a huge smirk.
'That you look great in formal attire, damn not only formal, you look great in whatever you wear.. even a trash bag would cuddle your abs and look good on you.'The smirk only grew bigger hearing me compliment him like this.
In a slow motion the male towers over me leading me to the wall with slow predator steps making me take steps back until we reached it.
'Is that so?'
He was amused by the situation and his eyes only added to it.. the pride hidden between the orbs.
'You're extremely handsome and I look like a bag of potatoes next to you, I don't understand why you would marry me, I'm just this guy that looks like a kid.. still has acne and..'
He pressed his finger on my lips to shut me up.
'Don't talk bad about yourself, you're perfect for me.'
He moved away from me again and walked back over into the closet coming back out with clothes for me to wear.
A blue blouse and some black trousers.
'That's rather formal,' I state.
'We're going to my work, which tie do you want black or white?'
'Black I guess?' I respond still extremely confused about the whole situation.I got dressed and stared into the mirror susprised about the fact I even owned this set of clothing.
'And spin, let me look.'
I slowly spin around and let the male look me up and down, taking in every single detail.
'The last time I saw you dressed up like this was at that masked ball.'
'It doesn't fit me,' I explain.
'You look great.'
'Why do I need to look so fancy? I don't have a meeting or something.'
'Well actually..'I roll my eyes and look away from him.
'It's your dad.. we're having a meeting with your dad and.. his lawyers.'
'I'm sorry?' I ask not fully aware of the situation.
'Our marriage was arranged, they want to know if I kept my promises.'
'Which were?'
'Not important for you to know.'
'I think it is,' I respond. He gives me the "please stop" stare and makes his way down stairs.
'
In complete silence I place myself down on the dining room chair opposite from him with my coffee and cereal.
None of us had spoken a word since and I couldn't decipher whether or not he was just tense or nervous about seeing my dad.
My eyes didn't want to separate from the movements the male in front of me made.
The way he lifted his spoon and stared into sweet nothingness letting the milk drip away since he didn't pay attention to it, not to anything.
I flinched when the spoon came crashing down and hit the table.
'Should I bring lawyers myself?' He asked like he didn't just scare the living shit out of me.
'I uhm,' I start in shock of what just happened, 'How else do you want to prove you kept up to your terms?'
'I know but,' he sighs lowering his head, 'won't it be too aggressive?'My body had a mind of it's own when it made it's way over to him, standing behind him and putting my arms around his shoulders.
'Levi,' I lean my head down against the back of his neck, 'you need them, otherwise they're going to think you pressured me and take me away.. I don't want to be without you, never.'
My voice broke multiple times during the sentence and he notice it.
He got up from the chair and pulled me into an embrace, calming me down with soothing words.'Don't cry darling, we got this,' he pushed my head up looking at me with pity, 'We got this, together,' his lips collided with mine, 'together.'
