Nine

Helenas POV

I took Gerards big hand in my small one and dragged him towards the Ferris Wheel. We joined the short line and I turned to him. Fear suddenly setting in, I had a fear of heights and I thought it would be a grand idea to ride the Ferris Wheel.

"Gerard I cant do this!" I panicked. He just chuckled. I glared at him, stop chuckling, its not funny.

He grabbed my face in his hands I looked into his soft eyes. "Yes, you can. Ill be right beside you, dont worry!" He said as we reached the front of the line of the line.

"Couple or single?" The guy said.

"Couple." Gerard said quickly. That word made my heart flutter. It felt like we were a really together, dating. And I liked it this way.

We sat on the creaky metal seat and the guy strapped us in.

"One rule. No rocking the seat. And anoher thing, that pole over there will take a picture of you guys when you hit the top." We nod and he pulls a lever and we start to slowly move. The breeze feels cool and I close my eyes and try not to think about being on the Wheel.

"Open your eyes!" Gerard whispered, giggling at me.

"Im scared...." I whisper back shakily. He interwines his fingers with mine and strokes my cheek. I reluctantly open my eyes and my jaw drops. The sight was beautiful. All of the pretty carnvial ride lights were flashing in the distance. You could see the kids, families and couples all having fun together. I smiled at the sight.

"Its beautiful isnt it..." Gerard whispered.

"It sure is...." I gasped.

"You know whats even prettier?" He asked, I turned around to face him. He had a cute smile pressed upon his lips.

"What?"

"You." He leans in and plants his lips on mine. I scoot over a lips and I run my hands through his hair and kiss him back.

"WOOOOO YEAH!" I suddenly heard from the ground. I pull away from Gerard and look towards the floor. There I see Frank, Ray, Bob and Mikey all clapping and cheering. I look at Gerard who has the biggest grin on his face. I giggle at the guys and turn back to Gerard.

"I had no idea they were here..." I giggle a little. He chuckles deeply and swings and arm around me. I cuddle into his side. He rests his chin on my head and I close my eyes as we move further down, embracing this precious moment.

We got off of the wheel and there stood the gang of guys, all of them with their hands shoved into their pockets.

"So are you guys dating or....?" Mikey asks. I look to Gerard who was biting his lip.

"I..Dont know?" I say, hoping its the right answer.

We stand there in an awkward silence. Maybe Gerard didnt want to date me? Maybe I was just kidding myself?

"We better be going....." Gerard trails off. He grabs my arm lightly and I follow behind him.

"Why did you kiss me up there?" I ask. He turns around and faces me, he leans in closer to my face and I gulp loudly.

"Im not going to hurt you, Helena." He sighs and I relax.

"I kissed you up there because...." He groaned and turned away from me. I shook my head.

"You just did it in the heat of the moment didnt you?! Youre just taking me here because you feel sorry for me, for what you and your group did to me. You're never going to change Gerard! You'll always be my bully an--" He spins around and pulls me close, slamming his lips to mine. He pulls me closer and I snake my arms around his neck. I kiss him back until I realise that I was yelling at him.

"You cant just shut me up like that!" I yell, pushing him away. He sighs quietly.

"One. Yes I can and two you really want to know why I kissed you up there?" He says, rubbing his face. I nod violently.

"Because I fucking love you! I want to be with you, I want you to be with me, I want to spend all my time with you and I want to wake up next to you in the morning."

I stagger backwards. "You mean that?" I whisper, feeling embarrased.

"Of course I do! Ive never stopped loving you Helena. Never." He whispered back, coming towards me, cupping my cheek in his hand. I put my small hand over his and let the warmness slread throughout my face.

I grabbed him and pulled him into a tight embrace.

"Im sorry..." I mumbled into his chest. He rest his chin on my head and rubbed my back, conforting me.

"Its okay...Its my fault...I drove you to stop trusting me..." He mumbled, still rubbing my back. "I do want you to answer a question." He pulled away so he could look at me.

"What is it?...." I asked, feeling afraid of this question.

He sighed, sounding shaky. "Helena Faye Black, youre the most amazing girl ive ever met. I want to spend all my time with you and I want to call you mine again...." He chuckles, turning bright red.

"Will you be my girlfriend?....Again?" I grin widely and jump into his arms.

"Ill take that as a yes then?" He says, chuckling, holding me up.

"Yep!" I giggle jumping down and pulling him into kiss me.

"C'mon lets go ride some more stuff!" I say excitedly.

"Well if you insist..." Gerard says, making a dirty remark. I slap his chest, still grinning. He giggle and grabs my hand, interwining them.

I feel my cheeks getting tired from smiling. I dont think anyone or anything could peel this grin off of my face.
