If you are an aspir...
Ans: I get my ideas from the world and life around me, I like to incorporate the fantasy side into my writing as well. Sometimes an idea will pop up or I will see something and have to write about it.
#2 What is your writing process like?
Ans: I don't plan out my stories, I write as I go with little planned besides characters and the world they live in.
#3 What advice do you have for writers?
Ans: Just write. Who cares how it sounds or if it doesn't make sense right away. Get your thoughts down, then work on editing them or rewriting. It is like any other talent, you learn and practice as you go.
#4 Do you think someone could be a writer if they don't feel emotions strongly?
Ans: I know with my own writing I am right there in the story, I am feeling what my characters are going through. The best writing I find comes from strong emotion.
#5 Do you try more to be original or to deliver to readers what they want?
Ans: I write about what I like and hope others find joy in it as well. I don't just want to fit into the mold of stories that have been done time and time again, even if I do venture to these topics I make them my own.

About the book: I actually got the idea from a Facebook comment. They said someone should write a book about Mermaids being made when women were thrown overboard. I really liked that idea and wanted to make my own spin of it, not just Mermaids but Sirens as well.
