Chapter Six| All Mal

   Audrey and I walk into the hall where the lockers are, she turns seeing Mal and Jay then turns to the girls that Jay was talking to. "Do you think they actually paid for those?" Audrey asks. I listen to the girls talk to Jay before Audrey speaks again. "She did it to Jane's hair, too, and Fairy Godmother's not happy about it."

   "What's the harm?" I ask shrugging my shoulders.

   "It's gateway magic! Sure, it starts with the hair. Next thing you know it's the lips and the legs and the clothes and then everybody looks good and then-" Audrey pauses, "-where will I be?"

   "Listen, Audrey-" she cute me off from breaking up with her.

   "I will see you at the game after my dress-fitting for the coronation, okay?" she kisses my cheek.

   "Okay."

   "Bye, BennyBoo!" she walks away, I let out a sigh of annoyance.

   "Bye."

   "Hey, BennyBoo!" Mal calls closing her locker.

   "Hey."

   "I just made a batch of cookies. Double chocolate chip, do you want one?" Mal asks.

   "Oh, I, uh, I've got a big game. I don't eat before a big game. But thank you so, so much. Thank you. Next time. Next time," I turn to walk away. I didn't want Mal to think I wouldn't take it because she's from the Isle but I really have a rule about food before games.

   "No, yeah. I completely understand. 'Be careful of treats offered by kids of Villains. Too bad, Y/n gave me the recipe." Mal holds the bag out towards her chest. Y/n gave her the recipe for cookies? Now I have got to have one!

   "She did?"

   "Yeah, she said you liked sweets and I wanted to wish you good luck, from her of course."

   I stared at the cookie, I had told her I liked sweets, but I had also told her about the rule for food and games, maybe she forgot. "I'll take it!" I take the cookie taking a bite. It was amazing, I would have to thank Ma- Y/n later. Why would I thank Mal? She made them, stupid. I wanted to hit myself in the face. I looked towards Mal. I had gotten the sudden urge to kiss her, how odd.

   "How are they?"

   "They're good. They're great! They're amazing! They're, uh, I mean, they're chewy and, and you know they- is that walnuts? I love walnuts. I man, uh, you know, the- the chocolate-the -the chocolate chips are- I'm sorry. Um, they're warm and soft. And they're sweet- Mal, have you always had those little golden flecks in your eyes?" I went to take another bite of the amazing cookie but Mal took it from me, making me give off a small wine.

   "How you feeling bro?" Jay asked coming up to me.

   "I feel- I feel- I feel like- like- Mal will you go to the coronation with me?" I wasn't sure where that came from but I couldn't find a reason for me to not ask her. I didn't love Audrey, and I was planning on breaking up with her.

   After the game Mal and I had talked to Audrey about us going together, she wasn't happy and told me she was going to take Chad instead, fine by me.

Dear M̶a̶l̶ Y/n,

   I dumped Audrey, well it was more like I was asking another girl out and I told her after. Mal is going with me to the coronation and I am so excited to see her amazing dress that Evie is making for her. She will be the most beautiful person at the coronation. 

   Her bright green eyes and her beautiful purple hair just make her so unique from all the other girls I know. She is amazing, she knows magic and is kind to everyone. Maybe it will even help you out in some way.

   Mal is the best person I can ever have, I wish you could see how beautiful she is going to be at the coronation. It'll be amazing. I can't wait to dance with her and kiss her.

   Kissing her will be amazing. Her lips look so soft and gentle. They are plump and help her have the most beautiful smile ever. It will be amazing.
