"Oh, that was so lovely!" My mom says as the students and I finish a version of Be Our Guest. I stand next to my parents getting ready to take the usual picture that we always took on family day.

"Just here?" dad asks the photographer.

"Ready?" the man asks. We nod.

"Oh, by the way, I'm taking someone else to coronation," I tell my parents.

   "Oh!" dad reacts.

"Yeah," I smile for the picture.

"Well, I never wanted to say anything, but I always thought that Audrey was a little self-absorbed. A fake smile, kind of a kiss-up," mom tells me.

"Do we know who your taking?" dad asks wrapping his arm around mom. I stood in front of their arms.

"On the count of three. One, two-" the photographer took the photo.

"Well, sort of. Mal!" I call raising my hand. My parents faces became ones of shock. "I wanna introduce you to my parents." I stand next to Mal. "This is Mal. From the island."

   "Hi," mom says quietly.

   "Hi," Mal responds.

"I was thinking maybe she can join us for lunch," I say to my parents smiling softly.

"Of- course. Any friend of Ben's-" dad starts.

"Um, I actually came with my friends," Mal responds pointing to Evie, Jay, and Carlos.

"Well, you should invite them. Because the more the merrier!" mom says trying to be nice.

   "Yeah, I'll go grab them."

"Uh, how about a game of croquet before lunch?" dad asks.

   "Huh? Of course."

"Game on!" I pound my fist with my dad's.

"Game on." Mal and I walk towards the court yard area full of croquet items.

"Have you ever played before?" I ask her quietly.

   "No," I smile.

   "You'll be fine."

We play croquet for at least thirty minutes before I hear Mal and Queen Leah talking. "What? You! How are you here? And how have you stayed so young?" Queen Leah asks Mal.

"Queen Leah! It's okay. Maleficent is still on the island. This is her daughter, Mal." I wrap my arm around Mal's shoulders. "Don't you remember my proclamation to give the new generation a chance?"

"A chance to what, Ben?" Queen Leah raises her voice for everyone to hear. Fairy Godmother comes over to try and dissolve the issue. "Destroy us? Come on. You remember, don't you? The poison apples. And the spells. Spells. My daughter- was raised by fairies because of your mother's curse. So her first words, her first steps, I missed it all! You mustn't trust her."

"I am so-" Mal tries to apologize for her mother.

"Go away! Stay away from her!" Chad pushes Mal back.

"Don't do this, Chad," I tell the blonde boy.

"What? They were raised by their parents, Ben. What do you think Villains teach their kids? Huh? Kindness? Fair play? No way, okay? Uh-uh." Chad points at Mal, "You stole another girl's boyfriend then he dumped you."

"Hey!" I yell at Chad. He points to Jay.

"You enjoy hurting people." Chad points to Evie last, "And you, you're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater."

"Mirror, mirror, in my hand, who's the biggest jerk in the land?" Evie asks turning her mirror towards Chad, his face showing up on the mirror. Chad pushes it away from him roughly.

"Back off, Chad. All right? Back off!" Jay yells pushing Chad. Evie sprays something into Chad's face and he passes out.

"Chad! Chad? Evie did something to Chad!" Audrey yells. Everyone surrounds Chad as Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos leave.

"I feared something like this would happen," my father says cleaning his glasses.

"This isn't their fault!" I tell him.

   "No, son. It's yours."

"Mom?" I turn to her looking at her. She walks away, following my father. I walk off to comfort the Villian kids.

"I miss her, she would know what to do," I hear Evie whisper to Mal and the two boys at her table. I walk up behind them and smile at them lightly.

"Hey, guys. How is everyone? Yeah? Hey, listen. Forget about it, all right? It was nothing. Forget about it. Let it go. Tomorrow, after the coronation, I promise everything will be okay." I left to my room to contimplate what I was going to do.

I wanted to write to Y/n, but was this something that needed to be written to her? Mal or Evie would most likely write about it to her.

Yesterday, I got a glimpse of her. Her yellow shirt and beautiful hair that shined in the sun. Her eyes that were the most beautiful shade of E/C.
