I was in the biggest breakdown of my life when I stopped crying long enough to let the words of my epiphany really sink in. That whore, karma, had finally made her way around, and had just bitch-slapped me right across the face. The realization only made me cry harder.

"Alright, get going, get that blood pumping." I shout to the pack warriors.

It has been a week since I got out of hospital from my little breakdown. I still haven't had any contact with Dea whatsoever. I feel empty, like a part of me is missing. Jaycob is helping me. He has been surprising me every night, to try and take my mind off of everything that had been happening.

I am the last one to fall asleep, and I am the first to wake. My nights are plagued with memories, the days are spent training and waiting for fate. It is a never ending cycle.

Mark has settled in perfectly. He has been friendly with many other pack members, he likes to spend most of his time in the hospital. I think he likes helping people.

He has been opening up to me more. He told me that, when he was a rogue, both him and his mate were offered by the Fates to join their army. It seems that they have been trying to recruit all the rogues they come across. He told me that both him and his mate told them they didn't want to, so they killed his mate in front of him and threatened him. He ran from them and came across these pack lands.

Right now, I am leading a training session. We have let everyone who is unmated and everyone who wants to fight, fight. Which includes all pack warriors. About half the pack is willing to fight. We told them everything a few days ago in a pack meeting. Everyone wants to help protect their luna and moon goddess.

I have told them all to run an entire circuit of the pack lands, its about 10 miles. I am in front leading them all. With werewolf stamina, they should all be able to keep up with me, but, the amount of unfit pack members is unbelievable. It seems that only the pack warriors have been trained to fight. It is imperitive that everyone knows how to do basic self defense. I brought this issue up with Jaycob, and he said he would make sure that this happens with future generations of his pack.

We finish the run, and I tell all those who kept up with me to stretch whilst we wait for the stragglers. So that's what we all do. We stretch until everyone is accountable for, except.

"Where is Max." I shout out.

I have a register where I tick everyone off when they come. But someone called Max isn't on here.

"Last I saw her, we were running down at the west side of the pack lands, she said she needed to stop for a bit." someone calls out.

"Did you stay with her?" I ask.

"No, she told me to carry on, and that she will catch up." they shout back at me.

I sigh. "Someone mind link your Alpha to get down here."

Someone must have as 2 minutes later, I can see Jaycob running up to us.

"What is it?" he asks, not even out of breath.

"Someones missing." I tell him.

"Who?"

"A girl called Max, she was last seen around the west side of the pack borders."

He nods. "I'll take 3 pack warriors and track her down."

Each pack warrior has a certain speciality, it could be weapons, tracking, fighting. There are many different specialties.
