The universe whispered it's him, but I sent you away ~ I tested our connection and left it to fate,
Years have passed and others have come into our lives, but here we are again, meeting another time.
Our timing is off, so we set our connection free once again, trusting the winds of fate and the synchronicity it sends.

Red, orange, yellow, pink and blue. All the colours of a sunrise. It's beautiful. Peace and serenity, no worries. That's all you can feel when hearing the birds chirping through the trees, seeing the bright colours illuminate the sky.

Me and Jaycob stayed up all night talking, and now, we are watching the sunrise together. We are sitting on the roof of the pack house, absorbing the wonders of the morning.

After we went to Amy's, Jaycob brought me to the roof. There was some food on it, we ate and drank and talked and got a little carried away. We talked through the whole night. The food is all gone, so are the drinks, but neither of us want to go down and miss the morning spectacle.

We don't get sunrises on Epidoro. The sun and moon are constantly in the sky, there is no day or night. We eat when we want, we sleep when we want. We do what we want. It is nice, but we have all missed out when it comes to this earthly display they call sunrise.

I am not tired, I don't really get that tired. I would stay up on Epidoro for a whole Earth week sometimes, with no sleep. I don't know if Jaycob is, if he is, he is hiding it well.

"This is beautiful." I whisper.

"I know." Jaycob whispers back.

"We don't get sunrises on Epidoro." I say.

"Enjoy it while you can then."

I smile and do as he said, enjoy it while I can.

We sit in comfortable silence until the morning spectacle is over, and the sun has risen below the trees.

"Are you tired?" I ask Jaycob.

"No, not really." he says.

I nod.

"Are you?" he asks.

"No."

He nods.

"Do you want some breakfast?" he asks.

"Sure." I answer.

We climb down from the roof and on to the grass. We enter from the kitchen slide door, and in to the kitchen.

In the kitchen, we find Cameron standing with his head in the fridge and a nutella jar in his hands. When he hears us come in, he takes his head from the fridge. His mouth is covered in nutella that he must have been saving for later.

We stare at each other for a moment, wondering who's going to make the first move. Cameron puts the lid back on the nutella jar and shoves it in the fridge.

"You saw nothing." he says, menacingly.

"The nutella that you were saving for later says otherwise." I retort.

"Strawberry watermelon peach cakes." he says, rushing to the sink.

He runs the water and washes his face, taking all the nutella with it. When he turns back around, there is no trace of any nutella based shenanigans.

We stare at each other again. I narrow my eyes and mentally challenge him to a staring contest. He narrows his eyes, accepting my challenge. We stay like this for a while, until. He blinks.
