Oh what a wonderful soul so bright inside you. Got power to heal the sun’s broken heart, power to restore the moon’s vision too.

"How?" I whisper, still in disbelief.

I am still stood in the middle of the clearing, with my guitar abandoned beside me. Jaycob is standing at the other end of the clearing from me.

He looks as good as new. As if he didn't just die two weeks ago.

His hazel eyes glow against his brown hair. He is dressed in his usual jeans and t-shirt.

This can't be happening. I saw his body. I buried it. This must be some sick trick fate is playing on me again. I can't believe it, I won't believe it.

"I don't know. One minute I was floating up, dieing, the next this.... Woman came to me and took me away. The last thing I remember is floating to the moon." he looks down at his body as if he himself doesn't believe what's happened.

But I don't belive it.

"That's what reassured me. I know you're the moon goddess, so I knew you would protect me wherever I went. Ava, I'm here now. I'm alive." he laughs, as if it's a miracle.

He takes a step towards me. I take one back.

I won't let myself fall for his tricks. Jaycob is dead. He is not here. No matter how much I long to run to his arms and burst in to tears, I don't. This can't be true. This isn't true.

"No." I whisper, I am sure I look horrified.

"What?" his voice cracks.

His face is a face of pure hurt. It sends pangs to my heart to know that I am the source of that pain.

"I felt you die. I buried you. I mourned you." I say, gradually getting louder.

"I know. I did. But, somehow, I'm back. I'm real." he steps forward again, this time I don't move.

"I felt you die." I hiss.

"You did. That must have been hard for you." he says, moving closer to me with every step, tears are now uncontrollably rolling down my cheeks. "But I'm here now. I know you don't want to believe it. I know you probably think I'm a trick. But I'm real. Tell me this isn't real."

He is now standing right in front of me. He reaches his hands out and take hold of my upper arms. I gasp at the tingles that erupt from where he touches. I made it so you can't fake a mate bond, these sparks, they're real.

I stare in disbelief at his hands. How? It doesn't make any sense. I don't even know if the moon has the power to bring people back from the dead, but I wouldn't put it past them.

I can't stop the waterfall anymore. I break down in his arms. I crumple to the floor, sobbing, bringing him down with me.

"Shhh. It's okay. I know it must be a lot to take in." Jaycob whispers in my ear.

He rubs my back and whispers soothing words to me until I calm down.

"You're singing was amazing. You have a lovely voice." he tells me.

I laugh whilst wiping my eyes. Why he would bring this up now, I don't know.

"I'm not joking. It was like a voice of an angel." he starts.

"Stop it." I mutter.

"It was like a wind through your hair on a hot day."

"Oh, come on." I say throwing my hands up.
