I wish you to know that you have been the last dream of my soul...
Since I knew you, I have been troubled by a remorse that I thought would never reproach me again, and have heard whispers from old voices impelling me upward, that I thought were silent for ever. I have unformed ides of striving afresh, beginning anew, shaking off sloth and sensuality, and fighting out the abandoned fight. A dream, all a dream, that ends in nothing.

When I get back to the pack house, I make my way straight back to the library to find out how to kill a spirit. I search through book, after book, after book, until I finally give up and decide to continue searching after I've had some breakfast.
I go downstairs and find Jaycob already in the kitchen, helping himself to some pancakes.
He is still in his pyjamas, which consists of some baggy trousers and a stripy t-shirt. His is halfway through shoveling some pancakes in his mouth when he spots me.
As soon as his eyes land on me, he drops his spoon back on to his plate before rushing over to me. He brings me in to a tight hug which I return.
"I wondered when you'd get back." he mumbles in to my hair.
I nod against him and breath in his pine scent which never fails to calm me down.
"I got back close to midnight." my voice is muffled against his t-shirt.
"What did she say?" he asks, breaking away, but still keeping hold of my shoulders.
"She said that in order for her help, we have to kill the Gaffer ourselves."
"I figured." he sighs, "Which is why, when you left I spent some more time in the library finding out how to kill them."
My eyes widen and a smile finds its way on to my face.
"Really? How?"
"Well, you know how they are dark spirits?" he starts.
He pauses and waits for my confirming nod.
"They are dark in origin. You will only ever see them at night, whereas you can see any other spirits at any time. The night is associated as dark, and the day is associated with good. We just have to get the Gaffer in to the sun!"
He finishes with a flourish. I smile again. The sun - light - gets rid of the dark.
"Well, what are we waiting for, the quicker we do it, the quicker we can tell the faeries, the quicker we win the war." I shout and run outside.
Jaycob follows me.
"Now all we have to do is find them." he points out.
Where is the most dark magic being used? It must be near the Faerie realms, so we just head towards the pool and work our way through and around.
I motion for Jaycob to follow me and dart off in to the woods.
After a while of wandering around trying to find the pool, I find it.
It looks like it did last time, complete with the rainbow. Nua will most likely be somewhere underwater.
"Where are we?" Jaycob asks from behind me.
"We're at the entrance to the Faerie realms."
"Why are we here?" he asks.
"So we can work our way out from here." I reply still keeping an eye on the pond.
