Sometimes we are less unhappy in being deceived by those we love, than being undecieved by them.

I stayed up all night looking through books that might tell me how to protect the Faerie queen. Jaycob tried to but ended up falling asleep at around 2am.

At 8am we got a mindlink saying that two more bodies were found. At the exact same place. At the exact same time. With the exact same words wrote on them, with one difference. It also said Unus which means one in Latin.

No one wants to go on that route anymore. Every warrior is refusing to walk it. But I know that that could be Fates plan and that they are just waiting for us to not out anyone on that route so they have an opening. I tried to convince Jaycob to get someone to go on it, but he won't.

And being the docile luna I am (not), I screamed at him until he Alpha commanded some people to go on the route. Maybe it wasn't the best way to go around it, but we made sure it was people who don't have any families or loved ones who would miss them, or old people who would die soon anyway.

Someone brought up some breakfast for me and Jaycob so we could continue with our reading without being disturbed. I woke him up eventually.

It is now 11am and we are still reading. I have read through A Ghost and How to Protect Yourself From Them, Spirit's and Time, How to Ward Away Ghosts and Spirits, and other books like that. But nothing comes up. It is hopeless. All I can find are human conspiracies that don't work.

But I can't give up. I will carry on looking until the Fates get here. With the faeries help, we might have a chance of winning, without the faeries, we will all die, and I will be helpless against it.

All I can hope is to find something, anything that might help us.

"Have you found anything yet?" Jaycob asks, breaking my train of thoughts.

"No, you?" I reply with.

"No."

I sigh. We are getting no where. I close the book I had just finished reading. I get up again and put it back where it came from.

Once it is back in its place, I scan other spines of books. Faerie Law, Faerie Magic, Faerie Realms.

All of a sudden, I stop. I hear a voice. Not Dea, I have gotten used to the emptiness in my mind. But someone who I can trust, someone who only wants to help, someone who goes by the name of Olive.

Faerie Realms, then Faerie Magic. The voice says. What, why, what will I possibly learn from Faerie realms and magic about our situation? I shout back in to the oblivion. Just trust me. Then I feel Olive leave me.

I kind of miss the feeling of someone in my head. I want, no, I need that feeling again. The space where Dea used to rest was then filled up with Olives presence, is now empty again.

Of course I trust Olive though, so I take the books down and carry them back to the table.

I slam them on the table with enough force that Jaycob looks up from his book.

"What will Faerie magic and realms teach us about our situation?" he asks.

"I don't know?" I say back.

He gives me a weird look before shaking his head and going back to his work.

I sit down and open up the Faerie Realms book.
