Beep!... Beep!... Beep!
The Anoying Machine of Heart (I learned it measured my heart beat) hadn't stopped being..well..anoying.
It had been almost 24 hours since I first woke up, and I was itching to get away from that machine.
We've had some time to bond, but I'm ready to head back to Dorm 16.
I had spent the time comming up with a plan to-
"Alright, lets get you packed up." The doctor came back in and started to unhook me from the machine.
It made a solid beep noise, until he turned it off.
"Are there any precautions I should take?"
"Just take things easy, don't stress too much. Other then that, you should be just fine."
Why am I only not realising how hot this doctor is...
Oh my gosh, did I just say that?
Maybe I should stay here for a few more days...
"Ready to go?"
"Yup" I stood up, a little shakey at first. I quickly regained my strength.
The doctor was kind enough to show me the way out.
I quickly called a taxi, and told him the adress.
20 minutes later, we pulled up in front of the house.
The clock in the taxi said it was noon.
I opened the car door, and it started to snow. Just a little light snow, but it still ment something.
It was like Mother Nature welcoming me.
I entered only to the discovery...
That the others were at school.
There was a pile of papers on one of the desks with a note that said "GIVE TO AVA"
I sat down and started to work through the pile.
~~~
"So you've never been to a dance?"
I pulled my head up and looked down at the pile of papers. I had only been through a few, but I guess I fell asleep.
Apparently I got less sleep than I thought.
"Nope."
The other must be home from school. I stood up and made my way down the stairs.
"AVA!" Cass was the first to notice me.
She ran over and hugged me. The others follow my swooped me into a hug.
"The doctor wasn't sure what state you were gonna be in."
"Were so happy to see you!"
We all pulled away from the hug.
"What have I missed?"
"There's a Winter Ball on Saturday to celebrate winter break."
"That's only in a 2 days. Wow"
"Yeah, did you see the papers we put upstairs for you?"
"Yeah, I'm guessing that's what I've missed."
"Yup."
"Oh and um Ava."
"Yeah?" I asked.
"We found a note in one of your binders..."
