GOING HUNTING

"I'm telling you right now. They have been squirrelly since you met with the other leaders."

"What do you mean by that?" Bruce asked him.

"A couple of vehicles have been trailing them lately." The man explained.

     "Is it the cops?"

"Man, I have no idea who it is, but I know I've seen this car following them." Spencer shared.

"There are a few guys you will need to go over all of the information you have collected about their movements. They must know everything, and I want you guys to come together to keep a close eye on them. That motherfucker thinks he's gonna stop me this time, but he's wrong. Cole will die by my hands." The man insisted with a look of disgust and pure rage in his eyes.

BERG COM

"Have you found them?" Igor Berg was beyond furious.

For many years, he kept his promise to his friends. But, with everything that happened, as of late, he recognized a promise stood in his way for far too long. It was time to put a stop to all of it. Now, his decisions appeared to mean nothing.

He was known for many things, and one of those was to make sure people respected his authority. So at any time a person elected to go against him, it was at that time that he was sure to show them the error of their ways.

After twenty years of military service and thousands who had served beneath him, Lt. Colonial Igor Berg had never in his life encountered white men who were as much a disgrace as the fools who attacked his men while blowing up their vehicles. So he was grateful for the foresight which caused him to rally his forces.

When his men showed up at the Kansas City rendezvous point, his crew had no operable vehicles, with ten of his men falling to some dishonorable fuckers he planed to skin alive the moment he rounded them up.

"The chatter from our friends is that Bruce is on his way to Dallas. He's planning to go underground until he can reach out and touch Cole. A warning was issued that if we show up in that city, it will trigger action from law enforcement. Because Miss Brooks's attorney is one of the top-ranking attorneys in the nation, her reach is pretty long. She has ties to some people who make the law that others can't even pay to break." Berg's communication liaison briefed him on all he'd uncovered about the people who were helping Cole.

"What can we do without bringing unwanted attention on us?" Berg inquired.

"Should we take that trip? We need people who specialize in search and extract tactics. We can't be anywhere near Texas should anything go wrong. Our best move would be to get someone to disclose Bruce's whereabouts. Then, we send a team to pick him up. Once we have him, we transport him to the compound and take up our issues with him there."

"That sounds like an excellent plan to me. Make all necessary preparations. Go dark to secure the package. Move quickly before they know what hit them."

WILLS

"I don't want it." Angel insisted.

"Look, you have done everything in the world for me. I can't repay you for everything, but thanks to my uncle, I can make a dent in the money you have lost on my behalf." Cole pled with her to understand.

"You're my man. We're a team. I never asked you for a thing. I don't want nor do I need your money." She stated as she pointed at her friend.

Even though her lawyer explained what Cole had discussed with her, Angel was totally against it. In no way had she asked him to give her a dime.
