   ~The story logic: So here are some things that might help you understand the story better. But you can choose to skip this part and go onto the first chapter if you'd like. This part is quite long.

   ~Mates: A mate is someone who is a supernatural's destined other half. It can also be known as a soulmate. When they meet each other, they are going to give off a scent that only they can smell on their mate. It's like a signal that their mate is nearby or that they've found their mate. Once they've identified each other as mates, a mate bond will be formed. 

If they are away from each other for too long, it will make them yearn for their company. It can also make them anxious. Once they are with each other, it will relax them. 

Being with their mate will make them stronger but can also make them more vulnerable. They are each other's weakness but also their strength. 

If one of them decides to reject their mate, then they will both go through immense pain once the rejection is done. Some can go through the pain and get over it as time goes by but most of them die of not having their mate by their side.

   ~Hybrids: Hybrids are the result of when two different species have a child. The child can have both of the species' ability and instinct. 

For example, a werewolf and demon hybrid. The werewolf has heightened senses meaning they can smell better, hear better, and are stronger than most people. They will be able to get their wolf at 16 and will be able to shift into it. 

The demon, on the other hand, will have bloodlust and many other abilities. One of them being able to kill the people around them if their loved ones are hurt, as well as spells. That's why when someone has more than one species, they become extremely overpowered, making them well sought out for evil purposes.

   ~Mind-link: Mind-link is when you form a connection in your mind with someone or multiple people. They will be able to talk to each other in their minds without being close to one another, nor talking out loud. 

It is mostly used in werewolf packs. It's most helpful when they shift into their wolves. They will be able to talk to each other in wolf form. Non-werewolves can also form a connection with another person if they put their mind to it. 

When mind-linking, the person's eyes will become clouded or dazed. Humans will not be able to use mind-link unless one of them is a supernatural.

   ~The Moon Goddess: The Moon Goddess is a god that many supernatural worship and believe in. Little is known about her but many supernatural believe that she is the one that does the mate pairing and even made the whole supernatural population. *Disclaimer: this is not very accurate to the real Moon Goddess*

   ~Werewolf Ranks and Titles: Every member in a werewolf pack has a rank and a title. The head of the pack is the Alpha or 'king'. His Luna, which is the Alpha's mate, is his equal. She can also be known as 'queen' of the pack, who will rule alongside the Alpha.

The Beta, the second-ranking individual within the dominance hierarchy, the Alpha being the first. They reinforce the Alpha's decision and can also be put in charge of the pack temporarily when the Alpha is not present. The other members of the pack answer to no one but the Alpha, but are expected to show respect to every wolf within the pack.

The Delta is third in command. They do not hold as much authority as the Alpha or Beta but are still needed within the pack.

The warriors within the pack are the most skilled at fighting and are mostly sent to patrol the pack borders in case of any visitors or rogues. They will ask the visitors what their name is and what their purpose is for crossing the pack border. Meanwhile, the rogues are usually killed on sight as they are crazed wolves who have been banished from their own pack.

Rogues are wolves who have been banished from their pack and are usually not welcome near other packs. Their banishment from their pack can be the cause of many things. Mainly are because they have broken the werewolf law.

The omegas are the lowest-ranking wolves in the pack. But they are treated like any other wolf in the pack. They usually are the ones that cook and clean for the pack and take care of the wolf pups in the pack as babysitters.  (These titles and ranks are just the main ones)

   ~Ancient dragons: Ancient dragons are just really old dragons who have lived a long time. A young dragon would be about 400 to 800 years old. While the older ones vary from 1,500, all the way to 6,000 years old. The older ones are addressed as an ancient dragon and hold a lot more power than the younger ones. They can shift into a dragon and have an element which they can breathe, in both human and dragon form. Their element can vary depending on what type of atmosphere they've lived in as a child and the temperature of the place they grew up in.
