Chapter 6: Foam Covered & A Shower To Remember

Hermione woke up the next morning and stretched bumping into something beside her. Turning she saw Draco lying on the sofa next to her looking peaceful in his sleep. Quietly she got up and went into the bathroom to shower, when she returned to the common room Draco was awake and sitting up. He smiled at her when she walked in then got up to take a shower himself.

Hermione had looked in the bathroom before she had come out and saw the rather bruise on her face where Ron had slapped her last night. She covered it was some makeup hoping to avoid as many questions as possible from people today. Before she sat down on the sofa somebody knocked on the portrait door. Walking over she opened it to Harry and Ginny.

“Oh hey guys, what are you doing here?” she asked stepping aside to let them enter.

Harry and Ginny gaped at the common room before turning back to Hermione.

“I am so sorry about last night Mione! I don’t know what Ronald’s problem is.” Ginny said, reaching over to hug her best friend.

Hermione hugged her back trying to avoid letting her arm be touched where it was bruised as well. “It’s alright Gin, I’m sure McGonagall will take care of it.”

Harry gave her a sympathetic smile and sat next to her, “You don’t deserve to be treated that way Hermione. I really hope you don’t forgive him again.”

“I’m not going to, I’ll never be able to trust him again, I don’t care how many times he apologizes. Between the other night and last time we are through for good.” Hermione stated leaning back on the couch trying not to remember the way he had forced himself on her.

“What do you mean the other night Mione?” Ginny asked giving her a concerned look.

“Nothing.” Hermione lied trying to avoid the subject.

“Hermione, that’s not true, just tell them…” Draco said appearing from his bedroom in fresh clothes.

Ginny and Harry looked at him and then back at Hermione with pleading looks. “Just tell us Mione, please, we need to know!” Harry said putting a hand on her shoulder.

She let out a muffled sob and shook her head getting up and walking away from them. She couldn’t tell them about what he had tried to force her to do!

Draco walked over to her and took her shoulders turning her to face him. “Hermione, you need to tell them. They can help when McGonagall asks about everything, you know she’s going to.” He whispered only to her.

Reluctantly she nodded and turned back to her friends. “Ron tried to force me to have sex with him, hence his comment last night on the topic. I screamed and fought to get away from him until he finally shoved me off the bed and called me a bitch and a boring girlfriend.”

Harry’s mouth fell open and Ginny’s face went as red as her hair. “I’m going to kill him!” she hissed. “Mum will love to hear about this, she’ll kill him if I don’t first!”

Before anybody could utter another word a patronus lioness came slinking into the room and stopped before them. “Mister Potter, Miss Granger, Miss Weasley, and Mister Malfoy please report to my office at once.” McGonagall’s voice rang out from the silver lion. They all walked down to her office in silence. They knew Ron would be there already and that Hermione didn’t want to see him.

Sure enough they walked in and found Ron sitting in one of the chairs glaring at them. As they sat down, he turned away from them and glared at the Headmistress.
