Not long after the EXTREMELY anxiety inducing events that took place during the first task, I calmed down. This seemed to please Mia and my roommates more than I would ever know. Harry also seemed a little relieved that I wasn't as high strung as I was the days leading up to the task and then during the task.

The only bad thing about the task being complete and over was that Charlie left and went back to Romania. I know I complained about him when he was here and annoying me, but now I miss the big goof. The Weasley's are so entertaining and now I don't have one to entertain me. Fred would try and talk to me occasionally and it was nice, but he was being extremely awkward and nervous. I guess Mia and I just really got to him, I don't know... George on the other hand was acting all suspicious around me and sent me these looks like I stole his child or something. Ginny was an absolute angel, but busy with her own life and Ron was a little arse. Thankfully though he ended up forgiving Harry. If he hadn't by Christmas break, I would have had to have a talking to with him and it wouldn't have been pretty.

With Christmas break in mind, the teachers seem to have thought it would be a genius idea to stick a bunch of dramatic hormonal teenagers in the castle for all of break so that they could throw a ball. My school was very okay with that, and we were ready.

We've practically been training for this our whole lives. Just look at us with our baby blue uniforms and how they taught us to flounce around.

As prepared as we are, that did not decrease the dramatics of everyone trying to find a date. It was extremely annoying, but I would be lying if I said I didn't hope someone would ask. I don't really have anyone particular in mind, but I still wanted a date.

"Why is this so hard and traumatizing?!" An exasperated Harry asked me as we walked towards the Gryffindore common room. He almost asked Cho Chang, his big time crush, for the third time today, but chickened out.

"Harry you'll get this. Just breath and remember that we aren't judging you and that you are THE Harry Potter." I tried to soothe him. He really was taking all of this to heart and freaking himself out about it.

"Well have you been asked yet?" He questioned, obviously trying to divert the attention from himself as we waited for a trick staircase to move. I fiddled with my loose sweater as we waited, unsure of what else to do with my life at this moment.

"Not yet." I disclosed, not looking up at him.

"Just wait, I'm sure it's going to happen. Worse thing come to worse, we can go together." He suggested laughing slightly.

"Ooooh great! Go with my cousin. Genius." I chuckled sarcastically as I nudged him lightly with my shoulder.

The staircase finally came to a stop in front of us and we started ascending the last staircase between us and the comfortable Gryffindore common room couches.
