The Sunday after my date with Fred, Mia woke me up surprising me.
"Move it. We have cousin time today." She declared, and as I sat up I saw Harry awkwardly standing in the doorway of our room.
"Good morning, Harry. What's going on?" I said as I tried to rub the sleep out of my eyes.
"She cornered me in the Great Hall and told me we were doing a cousins day, and here I am." He shrugged, looking like he felt bad for being a part of the reason I was woken up.
"Miaaaa, why right now?" I groaned, collapsing back on my bed.
"Because we need to spend time with Harry. We're only here for a few more months and we've all been busy so its time for more bonding. Our dad's would want it." She declared again, ripping my blanket off of me.
I sat up, sighing, and glanced at Mia. "Alright, fine. But couldn't this wait until after breakfast? I'm not sure I can handle bonding without coffee."
Mia gave me an exaggerated eye roll and handed me a cup of freshly brewed coffee. "You're welcome. Now get dressed. We're starting the cousin bonding day with a trip to the Room of Requirement. I've heard about this place from Fred and George, and I want to see it for myself."
I sipped the coffee, appreciating the warmth and caffeine. "Room of Requirement, huh? That's a good start, Mia."
Harry chimed in, "Yeah, I've heard some interesting things about it as well."
Mia clapped her hands together with glee. "Perfect! Let's get dressed, and I'll meet you both in the common room in thirty minutes. We'll have the time of our lives, I promise!"
After I got myself situated, the three of us gathered in the Beauxbatons common room, ready for Mia's cousin bonding day adventure. Mia had a mischievous glint in her eye, and I had a feeling we were in for quite a ride.
"So, Mia, what's the plan?" I asked, trying to sound as enthusiastic as possible.
Mia grinned and gestured for us to follow her. "The Room of Requirement first. It's not too far from here. I've heard you can ask it for anything you want, and it'll provide. So, let's see what kind of fun we can conjure up."
As we walked through the hallways, I couldn't help but wonder what sort of magical surprises the Room of Requirement had in store for us. The castle was full of secrets, and this room was one of its most enigmatic.
Upon arriving at the Room of Requirement, Mia paused and faced the blank wall. "Okay, everyone. You ready for this?" she asked, her excitement barely contained.
Harry and I exchanged a glance, then nodded in unison. Mia took a deep breath, closed her eyes, and whispered something to the wall. The stone surface began to shift, and a door appeared.
Mia pushed it open, revealing a room filled with soft, comfy chairs, an array of snacks, and a decently sized television screen. The walls were covered in posters of famous Quidditch players, wizards, and witches.
I couldn't help but smile. "Mia, this is... brilliant!"
Mia beamed, looking immensely satisfied with her choice. "Glad you like it! It's a cozy little place for us to hang out."
Harry seemed just as impressed. "This is amazing. I've heard about the Room of Requirement, but I never imagined it could be this cool."
We settled into the comfy chairs, and Mia conjured a bowl of popcorn and some Butterbeer. As we munched on snacks, we talked about our time at Beauxbatons and Hogwarts, sharing stories about classes, friends, and all the things that made our lives exciting.
